Ninety one

Emma paced back and forth in her room, now reeling from the moment that she kissed Rowan’s cheek.

"You're dumb, Emma; you really, you’d say one thing and you’d mean another,” she says to herself. She was quickly distracted by her son's humming to a cartoon, and that quickly took her mind off it.

Her son Ryan was busy in the living room, his mind fully on his book with his crayons, and Coles was keeping himself busy.

She had agreed to Rosita's coming, but that would be in a few days. She had to tell and explain to Ryan her plan; she didn’t want him to feel abandoned at times.

She walks to the floor, laughing and taking a seat on the floor to face her soon. She takes a crayon and joins him. “This is pretty, Ryan. Do you want me to color here?” She asks Ryan, who nods.

"Yes, ma’am, please use the red on the bird,” he notes, and Emma quickly obeys. She loved spending quality time with her baby, and she loved how smart yet innocent he was.

"So baby… I wanted to tell you about something..um
