YOU'RE NOT MY ELDEST MISS

Erada was caught off guard as the girl pounced into her, knocking her to the plush pink carpet, the girl started plastering kisses on her cheeks and Erada was startled, how could a maid's behavior be so..so improper, if it was a guy she would have strangled him to death but faced with this naive teenager, she was totally helpless.

" Eldest miss.. I thought I have lost you.. muah muah"

the assault on her cheeks continued, Erada didn't know what kind of relationship Olivia had with her personal maid and she could only endure helplessly until her cheeks turned red from all the pinching and kissing.

" Eldest miss.. I'm so glad " muah.. muah, the girl stopped abruptly as if suddenly realizing what she was doing, she scrambled to her feet immediately.

" Eldest miss ..I . I. didn't mean to do that, I don't know what came over me, I was just too excited to see you" the girl apologized awkwardly

Erada didn't know whether to laugh or cry, while she had laid there like a sacrificial lamb, thinking that it was the way Olivia interacted with her maid, the stupid girl was simply overexcited, if Eight and the others could see her now, they would tease her to death.

Erada sprang to her feet, glaring daggers at the girl, the girl was totally unaffected by her glare, instead she smiled brilliantly

" Eldest miss, don't be so hard on me alright, I promise not to kiss your cheeks anymore, I'll behave myself from now on okay" the girl pinched Erada's cheeks again making her wonder if this girl wasn't some sort of pervert.

A faint knocking sound was heard on the door and the girl rushed to open the door, another maid walked in with a tray of scented herbs and luxury soaps.

" Mistress has asked me to prepare a special bath for the eldest miss" the maid bowed, although her speech seemed humble, her gaze contained a trace of arrogance, the two maids glared angrily at each other and Erada shook her head helplessly, there were so many conflicts in the Kingston's mansion that even the maids had thier own share.

" I will go and prepare the bath now" the maid headed to the bathroom after she failed to get a response from Erada.

" That arrogant girl! Just because she's the eldest master's maid, she dares to look down on me , I know she's only looking for some gossip, that's why she decided to come prepare the bath " Olivia's maid huffed

The girl stepped out of the bathroom moments later

" Eldest miss I've prepared the bath "

she turned to face Olivia's maid " Viola! Eldest master asked me to summon you, since you're the eldest miss personal maid, don't tell me you're not aware that she was going to Grove city, it's your duty to protect the eldest miss, since you've failed to that, you can only accept whatever punishment comes your way, who knows if you'll still be allowed to stay by the eldest miss side, you should start packing already " the girl snorted disdainfully before turning to leave.

Viola's hands clenched tightly and she dropped to the ground with a thud, she knelt down in front of Erada.

" Eldest miss! Save me!! I know that I have failed in my duty to protect you, please don't let the eldest Master punish me..he. He..he..

A look of terror flashed across Viola's face and it surprised Erada, why was Olivia's personal maid so terrified of Royal.

" Viola!"' Erada admonished sternly, if it wasn't for the arrogant maid, she wouldn't have known the name of her supposed personal maid " what did my brother do to you"

The question caused Viola to stiffen

" N.nothing" she stuttered awkwardly, Viola was conflicted, she wanted to tell Olivia about how the eldest Master had tried to force himself on her several times but she knew how much Olivia loved and trusted her twin brother, if she told her, she wouldn't believe her at all, she couldn't bear to lose the eldest miss's trust so she could only endure in silence, only she knew how monstrous the eldest Master truly was despite how he fools the rest of the world by appearing generous and kind.

A look of impatience flashed across Erada's face, she was not a fool, she could tell that Royal must have done something to Viola for her to be so frightened, besides, a monster that could plot to kill his own sister, was there any other thing he was incapable of doing.

" Since you've decided not to tell me the reason then leave immediately, whatever my brother wishes to do with you, it has nothing to do with me" Erada said harshly, she didn't know how to coax people and she was always direct with her speech, if the girl couldn't come up with a reason, she wouldn't hesitate to send her away, even though she had no intention of hurting her, she couldn't stand weak cowards.

" Eldest miss" Viola pleaded desperately " please don't do this to me, you were the one that asked me to keep it a secret, I warned you not to seek the doctor in Grove city, that your life was more important but you insisted that something was wrong with you, I followed your orders because you were tired of people addressing you as a weak and spoiled heiress"

Erada's brows raised up, she didn't know Olivia was going to see a doctor, there was a very powerful doctor in Grove city, he was said to be so skilled that he could heal almost any ailment, while many people wanted to seek this doctor, not many were brave enough to do so, because to reach Grove city, one must pass through ' Devil's Lane ' which was the camp of 'the undead', it must have taken a load of courage for a weakling like the eldest miss to decide to go to Grove city, perhaps, there was more about this eldest miss that she didn't know and the only person who truly knew her was Viola.

" I don't care Viola, if you can't give me a reason to protect you then I'll have to send you to the eldest Master, if he decides that you're not fit to be by my side then there's nothing I can do about it"

Viola's eyes clouded with hurt, she had been by the eldest miss side since she was a little girl and she was the one who knew her the most, she was not as useless as the world painted her to be, she was kind and gentle and always treated everyone with respect, she couldn't believe the eldest miss would say such cruel words to her, her eldest miss wouldn't have let her kneel in front of her.

" Stop kneeling there like a statue, leave immediately!" Erada said coldly

Viola's frown deepened, this was not her eldest miss at all, her eldest miss would never be this cold and merciless, the face was identical to her eldest miss yet there was no trace of warmth in it, it was icy cold, almost as if she didn't give a damn about anyone, Viola didn't doubt that the girl in front of her would immediately send her to the eldest Master.

" Who exactly are you? You're not my eldest miss so tell me who you are" Viola questioned as she eyed the girl standing in front of her warily.

Erada was taken aback, she didn't expect her identity to be exposed by Viola, killing her wasn't part of her plans yet she couldn't bear to keep her alive.

" You're right, I'm not your eldest miss" Erada said calmly

Viola was about to scream when a gun was pressed to her head, she didn't even know how fast the girl had managed to bring out a gun.

" If you dare to scream, you and your eldest miss would die"

" Eldest miss. .is she alive?" Viola asked fearfully and Erada nodded.

" Then why did you capture her and hold her as ransom" tears welled in Viola's eyes " eldest miss is really innocent, if the eldest Master has offended you in anyway.. please spare my eldest miss" the only thought in Viola's mind was that the eldest Master must have done something brutal to the girl, causing her to undergo a plastic surgery just to look like her eldest miss, that way she would be able to cause chaos in the Kingston family, Viola had no idea that her analysis wasn't totally correct, since she had guessed the girl's identity, Viola was sure she would die, she expected the girl to pull the trigger but after waiting for several minutes, she didn't hear the sound of a gunshot.

For the first time in Erada's life, she hesitated to kill someone, she had promised Olivia that she wouldn't harm the innocent and even though she was the leader of the most notorious group of mercenary, she would always keep her promises.

" Do you really think by killing you, I will spare the eldest miss, if you really want to save the eldest miss then you'll listen to everything I tell you"

A glimmer of hope bloomed in Viola's eyes " I'll do anything you tell me, I'll do anything just to save the eldest miss"

" Fine, then all you have to do is to pretend that you didn't find anything strange about me and not breathe a word about this to anyone, I don't give people second chances, if you expose the truth then your eldest miss dies!"

Viola shuddered, if she kept quiet about the imposter, it would bring grave consequences to the Kingston family and if she exposed the truth, her eldest miss would die, she was conflicted but at the end, she couldn't bear to let her eldest miss die, her eldest miss was the one she loved the most in the world

" I'll do anything you say but I need proof that my eldest miss is alive"

Proof! That was easy, Erada whipped out Olivia's phone, after a face scan, the phone was unlocked, she couldn't blame the phone for failing to recognize it's owner, she dialled Venom's number and initiated a video call, the cold looking face appeared on the screen and a trace of worry appeared in his eyes.

" Daera, why are you calling so soon, did you encounter any trouble" Venom frowned

Eight peeked his head into the phone " wow Boss D, you look like a princess in this pink room, wow! This doesn't look like you at all, if you weren't my boss I would have proposed to you immediately"

Erada glared at Eight, he couldn't bear to say those words to her face but since it was on a video call, he could run his mouth carelessly.

Venom's face turned eighty degrees colder and he kicked Eight to the floor, Erada didn't think too much about it and she had no idea that Venom was trying so hard to control his rage at Eight's words.

" Venom, I want to speak with Olivia"

Venom furrowed in brows in confusion until he realized who she meant.

" Oh you mean the spoilt heiress"

Eight scrambled up from the floor immediately, no matter how hurt he felt, he didn't dare to raise his hand against Venom, he could only do that if he was tired of living.

" Hey spoilt heiress" Eight hollered " the Boss wants to speak with you, get your ass here this instant"

Olivia's pale face appeared on the screen and Erada handed the phone to Viola.

Viola took the phone fearfully, tears sprang to her eyes as she saw her eldest miss, dressed in long grey robes with a look of helplessness on her face, Viola couldn't stop crying.

" Eldest miss.... are you okay.. I'm sorry.. I'm really sorry eldest miss"

" I'm okay Viola.. I'm really okay.. don't cry" tears were rolling down the duo's face and Erada almost rolled her eyes, the two of them were a match made in heaven.

" Daera" Olivia's face turned solemn all of a sudden " please don't kill Viola, she's really innocent, I accept that you hate me for what my family did to you but please don't kill her" Olivia pleaded

" I don't intend on killing her as long as she doesn't expose my identity"

" Thank you" Olivia murmured softly before turning to face Viola " Viola you must not expose her identity and you must tell her everything she needs in order to imitate me"

" But.. eldest miss.." Viola persisted

" No buts Viola, I can't bear to lose you, to me you're not just a personal maid, you're my best friend, as long as you're alive then it's worth it, don't provoke her Viola and don't tell mother and father about this" Olivia ended the call without giving Viola a chance to refute.

Viola was crying but nevertheless, there was a steely resolve on her beautiful face, she must do anything to protect her eldest miss even if it means becoming a traitor of the Kingston family.

" In order to save my eldest miss, I will cooperate with you, you can be rest assured that I won't tell a soul about what happened" Viola promised

" Good, you'll tell me everything I need to know about the eldest miss and the Kingston family without hiding a single detail" Erada glared at Viola sternly " and you're not allowed to pinch or kiss my cheeks"

Viola shuddered, hastily nodding her head, if she had known that the person she had kissed was a mercenary, she wouldn't have dared to act like that.

" I promise, no more pinching, no more kissing, em. Your bath water will be getting cold"

Erada was walking to the bathroom when she suddenly stopped and turned around to face Viola

" About the eldest Master, you don't have to answer to him, I'm not Olivia and I don't have any ties with him, if anyone bullies you in the Kingston family, feel free to deal with them, I would support you, in fact, the more chaos you cause, the better it will be"

Viola could only nod her head, watching the slender figure head into the bathroom, she had allowed a wolf to remain in the Kingston's mansion and if she was caught, she couldn't imagine the consequences.

Erada took off her clothes and slipped into the warm bath, it was special indeed, the scented herbs and leaves made her nerves relaxed, as Daera, she didn't have time to indulge in luxuries like this, she was always thriving to become stronger, only by being strong enough would she be able to earn the respect of the undead, only by being strong enough would she be able to avenge her mother.

A soft knock sounded on the bathroom door and Erada hid her lower body in the tub, only her head was visible, she couldn't let anyone see the scars that covered her body.

Viola entered the bathroom timidly, holding a long pink towel and a pink bathrobe

" Eldest miss..um..do you need any help" she was supposed to supervise the bath but things had become awkward after finding out that this person was not her eldest miss.

" I'll be fine, don't worry" Erada dismissed Viola, it was until the door was closed that she lifted her body from the tub, it was a good thing that Viola found out about her identity, having one person that was close to Olivia on her side would make her mission smoother.
