Chapter 3

Bella's POV

I started to panic once I heard the howl. I felt as if I was stuck to the ground. Soon my senses came back to me. I took off running ignoring how slippery the ground was. That was when I realised I was running deeper into the woods. not knowing what to do I start to panic as tears start to spill. I did not know which way I should go. Everything seemed the same. I didn't know which way I came even.

All of a sudden I felt a presence behind me. I did not dare to turn around and see. I heard a deep yet low growl. It was as if it was asking me to turn. Still I could not gather the courage to turn around. The growl was heard again. I found my feet moving on its own as I turned around. my eyes bulged out at what I saw. I am dreaming. It was a huge{bigger than a normal} wolf in front of me. It was pitch black and had blue eyes. I started to sob as tears began to drop. I was stuck to the ground as I did not know what to do. The wolf started to take slow steps as I started to sob a bit louder. seeing this the wolf retreated its step.

As if this was not enough, all of a sudden another wolf, which was grey, came out of nowhere which was totally off guard. I fell back as the wolf lunged out of nowhere.my eyes were closed as my hands were covering them. As I opened my eyes, I saw both the wolves facing each other in circles. I tried to crawl away from them and I hit the tree. I hugged my knees together while watching the scene in front of me. The grey wolf made the first move and the black wolf easily dodged it and the black wolf was hovering over the grey wolf. The black wolf was two times bigger than the grey wolf. What happened next made me pray for my life.

The black wolf let out a loud growl before ripping the grey wolf head off. After that no one heard the sound. All that was heard was the uneven breathing of the black wolf. As if sensing my presence the wolf slowly turned around and made eye contact with me. It was as if time had stopped. I was trapped in its alluring eyes. They were as blue as the ocean. I broke eye contact and let out the breath that I did not know I was holding onto all this while.

All of a sudden I heard the sound of bone cracking. When I snapped my eyes to the source of the sound, it made me believe that I am dreaming or I was insane. The wolf's bones were twisting in different directions. In a matter of minutes, a man was replaced at the place of the wolf. I was dumbfounded. There was no way it was possible. I gaped at the person in front of me. I was looking right into his eyes that I failed to realise that he was naked.

A ear piercing scream left my mouth as I took off running the other direction. I had only taken five steps when two large arms caught my waist and pulled me against a hard rock chest. I tried screaming as loud as loud as I could before he covered my mouth with his hands. He lifted me off the ground as my legs were dangling. I struggled and kicked yet to no use. "shhh. Its ok my love." he cooed into my ears softly as he placed his nose at where my shoulder and neck met and sniffed. I started to cry out loud but soon I felt all of my energy being leaving as darkness slowly consumed me.

As the darkness was taking over the last words I heard were,

I finally found you my little mate.
