Hearing what Stefan could do made me boil with fury.

I felt like my blood was hot lava recirculating throughout my body. There was no more logical comparison than that, so I had to take a deep breath to keep from exploding like I wanted to.

The wretch wasn't playing fair, so I couldn't help but take this much more personally than it already was. One of my greatest pleasures would be to kill the bastard with my bare hands.

“You guys, okay?” I asked the Alpha of the Central Pack. “Do you need more support or anything?”

“No, we withstood the attack very well, so well that he is surely going to rethink his next moves; now he knows we have knowledge of how to counterattack their magic, so they will be more cautious about attacking us; however, I would not let my guard down because he is able to feel out if it is a matter of one pack or all of them.
