Stefan

The days had passed, and the secrecy of the Northern Pack was very much in evidence.

We had not been able to deliver correspondence to the Alpha because he was not available. That had me in a bad mood, as much as having to deal with Circe in her neurotic state. She hated me and threatened me with a lot of nonsense.

“You must adapt to the situation,” the sorceress told her humorously while I was hidden behind the wall.

“It wasn't, but you made a stupid move, and I thought you were so much smarter than everyone,” Dalia said carefully. “You almost did your job, but you were unhinged when you lost the baby and the place of trust Stefan gave you. You were fickle and foolish.”
