"You don't have to do this, Madam Hoffis. I don't need money."

"My granddaughter told me what kind of person you are," she said in disdain. "Besides, Nathan has liked her since they were little. You have no idea how much he loves her."

She continued, "Sally was a gifted child. Her grades were excellent, and she was smarter than most. In order to be good enough for her, he studied so hard just to get into the best National Defense School in the country.

"She once told him that she likes a man who can make rockets and explosives and can protect the country. He is the best version of himself because of my granddaughter.

"Sally was the one who made him a better man, but you stole my grandson-in-law with your dirty tactics." Loretta grew more and more worked up as she spoke.
