Throughout many moon cycles, my father had gradually accumulated his feeling of unbridled disappointment and somehow, a hidden resentment towards me. Perhaps that’s the reason why I slowly learned how to intentionally throw each fight. For a while it became my hidden signature move to throw my combat training no matter who I’m against with. I despised the taste of winning or the taste of being looked up to or the feeling of being perceived as strong and powerful. It makes me sick to see other people cheer for my success when it was all a fluke.
