95. A loud silence

“Your father postponed your ceremony.” Rafa mused from the driver’s seat.

Jamie chose to ignore him, looking toward his right. He knew where this conversation was going to head. Rafa had been trying to open some conversation about Emma ever since they started the journey three hours ago. Within another hour, they will soon reach their destination and perhaps Jamie can finally find some peace then.
