93. Distracted

“You’re distracted.” Jamie looked up from the ground to Rafa’s accusing voice.

Feigning nonchalance, he kept his gaze steady and said, “What do you want?”

“It’s the borders.” He said, pushing a piece of paper toward him. Jamie caught it on the other end of the table and quickly scanned the text on it. “There’s some trouble.”

Jamie read through the text with a frown on his face. It was a letter from one of the men posted in the boundary, Nate was his name.
