Chapter 5

Devin's POV

"Where the hell have you been?" I yell as my brother gets out of the car. "Devin I can explan," he replies. I stop him. "You didn't even call and you turned your phone off," I cross my arms. Then out steps a teenage girl. "Devin meet my mate Hannah," Thomas says with a big grin.

  "Oh so that's wh you were late. I guess I can give you a break," I say. Even though I am mad at Thomas finding your mate is near impossible so I understand why he couldn't leave. "Nice to meet you Hannah, welcome to the family," I extend my hand out to shake hers.

She is so small and frail. I think I detect a hint of rogue smell. "Yes bro I have got lots to tell you... lots," Thomas says.

Thomas finishes telling me the events of t he past two days and I am shocked. A witch helped Thomas. What? She bought him back to life. She used mind control on rouges. head was spinning. This witch was powerful. She didn't even live in a coven. I had to tell Cole.

Cole was our Alpha and he would know exactly what to do with this information. What my brother and the other wolves dont know is that our pack has been under attck by witches using black magic. Dead wolves have been found around the territory with their hearts ripped out and turned to sludge. Weird symbols were carved into their bodies.

I walk to his office and knock. "Come in" he says. I walk in "Cole we need to talk" I say. He frowns "This must be serious. What's wrong?" I tell hi the story my brother told me earlier. Cole says nothing just sits there thinking about what I just said.

"Bring her to me. We need her," he says. "What if she won't coe. It doesn't sound like she is someone to be messed with," I reply. "If she won't come on her own we will need to use other methods." He says as he hands me a bottle. "Drug her?" I ask eyes wide. "I said bring her to me." He got the final word.

I left his office. I guess I will be making a trip to Chicago. I look at the bottle in my hand. I will not be using this though. I throw out the pills. 

I head home and tell Thomas about the trip. "Bro don't stare too hard at her, she is gorgeous," he tells me. I laugh at his suggestion. I have never stared at a woman before in my life. They always come to me. I haven't fucked anyone for a couple of months though it has been a dry spell for me. I have been too busy.

I don't even pack a bag because I know I won't be there that long. I plan to see Stella and use my charm to get her to come back to me. I wear my tightest shirt that makes my muscles pop. I ask Thomas to give me a discription. Tall and blonde. Thomas smirks at me. "Trust me Devin you will know when you see her dude."

I drive to the City and head to Stella's apartment. Suddenly I see a tall blonde walk out the front door with another girl. I can't really see her that well from this distance so I get out and follow her. She heads into a crowded bar. I decide to take a seat opposite her. Holy shit! Thomas was right. She is gorgeous. I realize my mouth is gaped open and shut it. This is not good.
