Stella’s POV
What are vampires doing here? Cole growls and steps in front of me. William throws his hands up. “Hold up guys these are my friends,” he says. I give him a skeptical look. How is William friends with vampires?
“This is Louis. He is a good vampire. He and his group of vampires are here to help. They have been hunted for years by the Dark Coven and they want revenge.” William tells us.
Cole puts out his hand for Louis to shake. “Nice to meet you Cole and Stella,” he shakes Coles and eyes me. “William can’t stop talking about his beautiful daughter.”
“It is nice to meet you. So how do you know William?” I say looking at William suspiciously. “Well, your father here dated my sister and broke her heart.” He said flatly. I was shocked William and a vampire very interesting.
“So do I get to meet this ex?” I said with a sneaky grin. “No never,
Today is the day. The day that I will get my wolf. It is also the day that I will lose my powers once I shift for the first time. I have a terrible feeling in pit of my stomach. I wake up with my head on Cole’s chest. I want to stay here a little bit longer. With the future uncertain, we do not know if we will get many more mornings like these. ‘No!’ I think to myself and push those thoughts away. I cannot think like that. I finally decide I need to pee so I get up. I look in the mirror. I do not feel as if anything has changed and I do not look any different. My body does not look any different either. Maybe I will not get a wolf. That would be my preference in my current situation. I wash my face and brush my teeth. I decide to cook everyone a giant breakfast and let Cole sleep in. He has been training like crazy. I actually wish I could train it may help me let off some steam but Cole says hand-to-hand combat is not good for the baby. I cook everyo
Cole’s POVStella’s wolf is beautiful. All white with her blue eyes. My wolf Stefan is very excited he wants to mate with her immediately. ‘We don’t have time for that now,’ I tell Stefan.Fire and smoke erupts beyond the tree line. They are coming I think to myself. I have never been nervous before not like this. I can see them all walking towards us. There are many more witches this time. They must have brought the whole Dark Coven. All of my wolves and Stella’s family are at our side. Stella lets William know that she still has the Life Stone.Peter steps forward, “Now it’s time to take what is mine.” He reaches his hand out toward Stella and chants some words. She starts to whimper. He is killing her. I watch in shock as she crumples to the ground.I lunge at Peter knocking him to the ground. One of the dark witches then hits me with a spell. My head starts hurting and I feel like my h
Cole’s POVI open my eyes. I am in a bed with an IV coming out of my arms. I look around confused as to what is happening. Devin walks into my room. “Great your awake,” he says.“What happened? Where is Stella?” I ask him. “She has been taken.” Devin answers. My mind flashes back to her being dragged away by a man. I jump up from the bed ripping out my IV.“Woah! Sit down Cole you need to relax. The amount of magic that was used on you William said should have killed you. We have everyone out looking for her.” He tells me.“No, I need to look for her myself. She is in danger. My baby is in danger. I will kill whoever did this.” I yell at him pushing past him to walk out the door.He follows behind me. “What is the damage?” I ask. “We lost six. The witches are fine. The Dark Coven lost about the same.” Devin tells me as we walk.I knew the witches would
Cole’s POVShe is standing right here in front of me. I bring my hand to her cheek. She closes her eyes and leans into my hand. The sparks are still there. Her presence still brings me the most imaginable comfort.I give her a peck on her plump beautiful lips. I look into her beautiful blue eyes. We just stand there for a while staring at one another.“I was so scared Stella. I have never been that scared in my whole life.” I tell her. “I know but you should know you can’t get rid of me that easily. I am a fighter.” She says grabbing my hand and kissing it. She then takes my finger and puts it in her mouth and sucks on it.That is it. I pick her up bridal style and carry her up the stairs. I do not let her lay on the bed. I turn on the fireplace and strip her clothes off her and throw them into the fire pit. She smiles and bites her lip knowing how much I hate the thought of another man’s clothes on her.I
Stella’s POVI start to prepare for our séance. I know my mother always keeps sage on hand. I was half joking when I told Moon to bring her salt. We don’t use table salt we use salt from the dead sea which my mother also has. She is always prepared. It is not the full moon but close to it. I was a little busy during the full moon.Séances are not my expertise. I can find people or connect to people, but I must be holding a belonging or be touching the person closest to them. That is how I am able to find mates. I can also find people that I have a personal connection with. For some reason being able to tell the future is not an ability that I have been able to access as well.We all head down to the lake. Two of my brothers have already left. It is just me, Moon, Mom, Dad, Mason, William, Cole, and Devin.Cole and Devin seem very nervous. “Nothing bad is going to happen. We are just calling on our ancest
Cole’s POVMy parent’s murderer is coming for my family. He will not hurt Stella or my son. I though it was strange that we hadn’t had any issues with any rogues for a long time. I just thought the witches were scaring them away. Now I know they were working together.I was also shocked to hear that Marius was still around. I thought we had killed him. My father’s warrior Jacob had pushed him over a cliff. I saw it happen so how was he not dead? None of this made any sense.Devin knocks on the bedroom door. I stand up from the bed. “Stella, I need to talk to Devin. We need to make a plan.” I tell her. She nods and gives me a kiss.Devin and I head for my office. My mind is racing. I think about the pain he caused my family. I know he did not murder my father, but he couldn’t function after she died. They say when you lose your mate you go mad, or you just cease to go on. My father did the latter. He died of a brok
Stella’s POVCole has been training his wolves hard for the past three weeks. Warriors from some neighboring packs arrived last week. I was in charge of figuring out housing for them and grocery shopping for everyone. There has been no sign of the rogue wolves and Marius. It is making me anxious just thinking about it.Most of the women, children, and elderly have not been sent back yet. We thought it would be safer for them to stay where they are for now.I head to the training facility to see Cole. It seems like he spends most of his time there lately. I have been eating most of my dinners with my parents and siblings. Of course, Devin has been busy with Cole, so she spends most days at the house too.I see Cole surrounded by hundreds of warriors. He smiles when he sees me coming and excuses himself. “Hi my love.” He leans down to kiss me. He puts his hand on my not so small belly. “How’s my boy doing today”? h
Stella’s POV I am standing in the forest. Everything is going in slow motion. Wolves are running around me and blood is flying everywhere. William and my parents are there too using spells to kill as many of the rogues as they can. I just stand there stunned. Cole’s wolf leaps from behind me and lands on another wolf ripping into his throat. Anger radiates from me. I know I can’t stop what’s about to happen next. I fall to my knees screaming as a light flows out of my chest again. SLAM. I jolt awake. Cole is here and he is pacing back and forth. Anger and pain are seeping from his pores. “What’s wrong?” I jump up. “Sorry Ella. I just got some unexpected news from Dane.” “What is it? What did he say to you?” I ask. “Dane told me that my mother was with another wolf before my father. It was Marius’ brother Gray and that they had a son together.” He answers. “What! How is that possible I thought your parents were mates?” I ask. “They
