Here's what happened last time on The Werewolf's Superiority
On our way to the dig site, we meet a Tribe Elder. He tries to tell us to turn around as there are evil buried on this mountain. While I am trying to explain that we can be here, he doesn't want to listen to what I am saying. He quickly disappears as I am still talking to him. We take a few minutes of rest time, but the group is tired and wants to rest for longer. Steve, the security guard shows us how far we still have to go as we come to a crossroads ahead of us. But a sudden storm is approaching us that could prove to be problematic.We are standing on top of the mountain. We are trying to discuss as a group what path we need to take. I call everyone together to discuss as a group what we must do. Once we have made a decision, I look at Steve, my security guard, and say;
"We have decided to take the first path. We want to get there quickly without any hassles."
"Okay then, follow me."
As we are walking, you can feel a cold wind blowing on your skin. In the distance, you can see thick clouds are forming. It looks like a storm is on its way. As we are walking around the mountain, the wind is blowing much faster than before. You can now hear in the distance the thunder and crackling of the lightning.
A thunderstorm is brewing ahead of us. In a matter of a few minutes, thick clouds are overhead us. The thunder is so loud that we can feel the vibrations through your body when the lightning hits. The wind blows so hard that we have to fight to stay on the road, it starts to rain big drops. In just a few seconds of rain, we are soaking wet and cold. We are now struggling to see where you are walking and trying to stay on the path. I ask Steve;
"Is it too late to turn back?"
"Yes, it is too late sir, we have to keep on going now. We have a very narrow ridge coming up. But that ridge will lead us to the other side with a cave where we can wait out the storm. Please be careful and watch your step."
The wind and wet soil make our feet slip on the uneven, muddy ground as we get to the narrow ridge. Steve look back at us and says;
"I will go first, and you hold onto this rope. Once you feel me jerking on it, you will know that it is safe for you to cross."
He turns and starts walking on the path, and he soon disappears in the rain as he gets further away from us. Everyone screams behind me;
"We need to get out of here. What are we waiting for?"
"We are waiting for Steve. He will jerk the rope so that we can cross safely. Just hold on for a few more minutes."
After a while, as we are standing in the wind and rain waiting for Steve to cross, I feel him jerking on the rope. I turn around and say to the rest;
"Take this rope, hold onto the next person's shoulder. Steve has already walked on the path to the other side. Be careful because this path is very narrow and wet."
I let everyone go first, with Doctor Smith walking in front of me. The wind is howling, and the rain keeps on soaking us. The only time we can see in front of us is if the lightning lights up the sky above us. Doctor Smith's walking pace is much slower than the rest of the group.
Suddenly, lighting hits somewhere above us. We hear something rumbling above us, but we can not see what it is. We hear a loud bang, and then I hear Doctor Smith screaming. I can not feel her shoulder nor see where she is. I can only hear her screaming. The lightning hits again, this time for a few seconds. Now we can see what is going on. Doctor Smith is hanging onto the cliff, and a part of the narrow path is gone. I react and scream at her;
"HOLD ON, Doctor Smith. I am coming. I grab hold of her hand. I hold it as tightly as I can, and I start to pull her up."
She screams;
"Don't let go...I do not want to die like this."
I can hardly see what is going on, but I can feel the wet ground and try to navigate my way around. The water and mud make it hard to hold on. Doctor Smith is slipping as I am struggling to hold on to her wet hand. I tell her;
"Take your backpack off. You are too heavy. I can not hold on much longer."
As she is trying to get the backpack off, her hand slowly slips until I can not hold on to her anymore. All I can hear is her scream all the way down into the darkness below. Suddenly it goes silent, and I scream;
"NOOOOOOOO."
I hear Steve voice close to me, and he says;
"Sir, there is nothing we can do for her now...but we need to get you off this mountain...it is not safe. Hold unto the rope and jump across. I have got you."
I take hold of the rope, and slowly I feel with my foot where I am going until my foot feels no more ground under me. I say to Steve;
"I will have to wait till the lightning strikes again. I need to see in which direction I am jumping."
"Okay, but you can not be here for long. If this path collapses, we are going to have much more serious problems on our hands. It is unsafe."
The lightning hits again, I can see. I take a few breaths and jump to the other side. I made it halfway across my legs are hanging off the cliff, and I and slipping. Steve quickly jumps across and grabs hold of my hands, and pulls me up. He tells me;
"Put your hand on my shoulder and follow me, sir. You are safe now."
We walk into the cave, where everyone is huddling to stay warm. One of the group asks;
"Where is Doctor Smith?"
I shake my head and say;
"I am sorry, I did everything that I could. Part of the path caved in, and she slipped and fell."
Everyone gasps for air, and the others start crying. Steve says;
"Once this weather passes, I will make a call on the satellite phone to Search and Rescue to look for her. I am sorry this happened sir."
"It is okay, Steve. You did what you could. It is not your fault. It's this weather that is causing this."
We all go quiet as there is nothing more to say. We are trying to stay warm and to wait for the storm to pass. We are huddling together to conserve body heat. It actually sounds as if the storm above us is worsening. I take some waterproof matches out of my backpack, Steve tells me;
"It is no use, sir. There is nothing in here that will burn?"
I stand up and walk into the cave with a flashlight. I pick up a few sticks and branches as I make my way deeper into the cave. The wind blows in the cave strongly. I get to a small opening where the wind is not that bad anymore. I call the rest over to me. As they all stand around, I say;
"Sit together. Let us try to stop the wind from blowing the flames out."
They all sit tightly together. I start making the fire. The sticks slowly burn until we have a small fire going. Steve tells me;
"I will walk into the cave and look for more wood."
As he disappears into the cave, I put on some more small sticks to keep the fire going. Everyone holds their hands close to the fire so that the flames can warm them up. When the lightning strikes, you can see deeper into the cave tunnels.
Here's what happened last time on The Werewolf's SuperiorityThe expedition team discusses what path that we are going to take. We decide on the quickest path, the most dangerous path. A storm is brewing above us, with strong winds and rain. A part of the path was destroyed due to rocks that fell on it. Doctor Smith slips, and I try to help her up. But in the end, she still falls to her death. We take shelter in a cave and wait out the storm. Steve and I start to explore the cave, looking for wood to burn to keep everyone warm.We are all huddled up to try and keep warm with the small fire I built. Steve walked down into the cave to find some more pieces of wood. I put on some more wood to give us some heat, but it is not enough. I hand the sticks over and start looking for Steve.Every time the lightning strikes, you can see deep into the cave. As I am walking in, I can see in the distance. It seems like a flashlight is lying on the floor in front of me. I
Here's what happened last time on The Werewolf's SuperiorityWe are hiding in the cave, huddled together around a fire to keep us warm. Steve and I walk deeper into the cave to look for more wood. Steve has disappeared in the cave system. The cave leads to a split, and I walk down the right side. I start to feel uncomfortable and move back. Steve grabs me from behind and tells me that something is in this cave with us. Whatever it is, it grabbed Steve and pulled him into the cave. I take his backpack and take the team with me, and we leave the cave.I look at everyone with happiness coming out of my every being and say;"See everyone. We have arrived!"Everyone starts running towards the dig site. I call out and say;"Don't run. Stay together. Everyone?"No one listens and starts running to the site. I look back at the cave, and I think to myself. I do not want to be eaten by an animal here. I also need to start running. I scream;"He
Here's what happened last time on The Werewolf's Superiority We have finally arrived at the campsite. One of the security guys comes to meet us. He wants to know what happened to Steve. I walk to the main house and fall asleep. The people wake me up, and Dr. Chloe Addison comes and sits down next to me and starts talking with me. I request the expedition leader to work with the ground penetration radar to look for dig sites. Dr. Chloe Addison follows me everywhere and keeps on talking to me. The ground penetration radar picked up something, and we're busy digging to get to a door hidden in the mountain. I take a brush and start cleaning the door so that we can see the door more clearly. A crowd is now forming, trying to get a glimpse of the discovery. I call out; "Where is the photographer?" "Here he is." The expedition leader grabs him by the shirt and pushes him towards me, and says; "Stop standing around and do your fucking job."
Here is what happened last time on The Werewolf’s Superiority I start cleaning the doorway to see more of the details on the door. Everyone is standing around to look at the discovery we made. We are having it photographed and video recorded. I figure how to open the door, and we send in the drone to see what is behind the door. We look but see the round room is empty, but there is some writing on the walls. We send the drone back out, and we start walking in. We take some floodlights with us in to see a bit more clearly. We walk into the entrance of the round room. Both of us stand there in amazement at the detail of the drawings on the wall. In complete awe of the level of detail of the sketchings, I say to Roman; "The markings on the walls must have taken months, even years to have complete all of it. The details are so detailed." He says astounded; "I know what you mean. And look at how many drawings these people did. Now I wonder how long
Here is what happened last time on The Werewolf's Superiority Roman and I walk around the room and look at the details on the wall. We get the photographer and videographer in the cave to start documenting the walls. I find a hidden wall where a pile of human remains is hidden. Dr. Cloe Addison really wants to get into the cave to start her research on human bones. I call Yasmin on my satellite phone and explain to her what I have found. She says that she will come here as soon as she can. Ethan, the photographer, shows me the writing on the walls and what it means. That is when I find out that there is a tomb in the room. After talking to the crew outside to get e away into that tomb, I walk to Dr. Cloe Addison and start talking to her; "If you can look but not touch anything, then you can follow me." She nods as she says; "I promise. I will look with my eyes and not my hands or fingers." "Then, follow me." I walk in with her
Chapter 8 - It Is A Werewolf! Here is what happened last time on The Werewolf's Superiority I ask Dr. Cloe Addison to follow me into the cave, as long as she looks and does not touch. I show her the pile of human bones. She gets confused about why there is a pile and who piled it unto each other. I show her the drawings of the tomb below us, and she is stunned to see it. We have more questions than answers by looking at the paintings. So we have to wait for the team to go through the images to find out more. Dr. Cloe Addison and I discover three holes and that the three locking bars will fit in the holes. Those could open the tomb below us. Dr. Cloe Addison walks back to the walls to look at the drawings. We need to find out what is going on in here. I look at Ethan while he is taking photos. I ask him; "Ethan. If you see anything else that stands out to you, let me know, please." While smiling at me, he quickly replies; "I will do tha
Here is what happened last time on The Werewolf's Superiority We are still trying to figure out what is going on in the cave. That is when we see that whatever is in the tomb kills people. I tell Dr. Cloe Addison that she can start working on the piles of bones. We give her a few tables to work on, and she quickly gets to work. Kimberly Tyler, my, girlfriend gives me calls. We walk for a while as it is good to hear her voice. I tell Kimberly what we have found in the cave. She is so happy for me. She wants me to send photos from the find. I walk away from Dr. Chloe Addison and walk into the cave again to talk to Ethan. I watch as he is taking photos for a few seconds and decide to ask him; "So, how is the documenting coming along?" he gets a sudden fright and says; "Shit. You scared the living hell out of me." "Sorry, Ethan." "No. It is okay. I have only this section left, and then this side of the wall is done." Curiou
Here is what happened last time on The Werewolf's Superiority I start helping Dr. Chloe Addison for a few hours to take all the bones out of the cave. Once I finish helping her, I walk back into the cave. I want to find out how Ethan is doing on the documenting. He is taking too long to document everything, so I try and open the tomb. I call Roman to come and assist with the opening. We try to do a few things, and we get the tomb open. Dr. Chloe Addison is so impressed seeing how the cave looks after revealing the tomb. Now she doesn't want to go and do her job outside. I laugh while looking at her reaction and say; "I will wait for these guys to document the site first before we are going to try and open the tomb. You still have a few hours before we start poking around. I will call you once we start." She nods frantically, while she keeps staring at the tomb and tells me; "Okay. If you say so." She turns around and starts to walks ou
Here is what happened last time on The Werewolf's Superiority I smell a storm coming. I warn everyone, but no one believes me. Dr. Addison hesitantly believes me, and we start packing her stuff away. I carry all her stuff down the hill a few times. The storm hits, and it is a big storm. I pick her on my back down the hill and see two other people in need. I run back into the downpour to save the other two. As we start eating, everyone wants to celebrate what I did to rescue the people from certain death. Dr. Addison and I are sitting at the same table. Dr. Addison and I talk while we are busy eating. I feel this weird sensation happening throughout my body. Dr. Addison looks at me funny as she asks; "Are you okay, Dr. Andrews?" I smile and say; "Yes. It feels like something is crawling under my skin." She sits back, looking shocked at me, and asks; "Really? What is going on with you?" I keep my smile on my face to set h
Here is what happened last time on The Werewolf's Superiority I try to tell Dr. Addison to look at the camera footage, and then she will also see that something was moving inside the tomb before I fell. She quickly tells me that the fall broke the camera. Dr. Addison wants me to see a medic as I am not making any sense. I finally agree to have a medic check me out. I go back home and eat while forgetting to see the medic. I help Dr. Addison to get all the bones out of the tomb. I am starting to pick up something that is different with me. I pick up smells, tastes and my eyes are much better. I smell a storm coming in and tell Dr. Addison to pack up all of her equipment. I pick up the boxes that Roman helped to carry and head down the hill towards the house. I walk into the house and realizes that I do not know where her room is. I take a deep breath and follow the smell of her to her room. I put the boxes down in the corner. I walk back outside to get the rest of the
Here is what happened last time on The Werewolf's Superiority I walk back into the cave to see what is going on. I record what I am doing so that if I die, people will know what I did. Roman is outside looking on a screen while I am live streaming. I start to take the rod out of the first hole of the tomb. The other two rods come out as well, and only the last one has problems with coming out of the hole. While pulling out the final rod, it makes strange clicking noises. I find the place where the spears come out from and show it on the camera. We think that trying to open the lid because it will set off the spears. I try but can not move it at all. Roman comes in to help, and he slips. His legs fall in, and the spears puncher his leg, and there is blood everywhere. Once the medics have him removed from the scene, I go back in. I see something moving in the tomb and fall in myself. I try to explain to Dr. Addison that she needs to look at the camera footage. She
Here is what happened last time on The Werewolf's Superiority I walk back to the cave and start filming and measuring five feet to check where the spears could come from the walls. I walk to the tomb andinspecting everything. I touch it, and no spears come out to kill me. Roman gives me a great idea. If I try to open the tomb, the spears will come out to kill me. I agree with him and start to try and open it. I successfully remove one of the bars. Roman says over the radio; "Just because you do not see the puzzle, it doesn't mean that there isn't one." "I know, Roman. And thank you for the advice. Are you getting the video?" "Yes, Dr. Andrews. But the radio sound is much clearer than the video's." "Okay, good. The rod is almost out of the hole, so here we go." I put the video recorder on the steps, and I grab hold of the rob and give it one firm tug, and the rod comes out of the tomb. I fall on the ground out of the sight
