Kiara:
“Good morning” Nathan smiled leaning in to kiss my forehead, his arms either side of my head as he caged me, I smiled and rubbed the sleep out of my eyes, looking at him, his expression happy as he looked at me, a smile forming on his face.
I wrapped my arms around his neck and pulled him down to kiss my lips, it had been a month since I was back here, and I have been getting better since, Nathan had been making sure that I was okay, making sure that I ate on a regular basis, that I slept properly, Lilian was sleeping in my arms almost every night, it made my heart swell, Nathan would sometimes pick me up from the seat where I slept with her in my arms and bring me back to the bedroom after putting Lilian in her crib. The small details about our relationship made me relax, the fact that he showed that he loves me in every detail made me smile, he hadn’t touched me in fear that I was not ready, and I was thankful for that.
“Morning&
Nathan:I walked out of the house the next morning, Kiara still asleep after another few rounds of being intimate with one another at night, her body falling into a deep slumber when we were done, I couldn’t blame her, had it been my own stamina, I would’ve been asleep like she was.“Nathan?” Grace smiled looking at me, her eyebrow raised as she saw a love bite on my neck, Kiara making sure to mark what belonged to hers, I couldn’t say that I didn’t leave my own share of marks all over her body, my canines which were buried deep in her neck as we made love left a mark for everyone to see, my scent filling her body as well.“Hi” I smiled at my sister who wrapped her arms around my neck hugging me.“Someone’s been active” Grace teased, her voice clearly amused filling her voice, I chuckled at what she said.“None of your business, I don’t need to count the times when you ca
Kiara:I put the piece of dough in the fire, letting it cook.“Luna, the eggs are ready” Amalia said looking at me, I smiled and nodded for her to take them out.“The bread is ready as well, I’ll be taking it out in a second” I said looking at Amalia, flipping the bread then bringing it back to put on the plate with the rest of the pieces, Amalia smiled in satisfaction and both of us took out what was left of our meal, the girls had already taken out what we prepared earlier, all what was left was the bread and eggs.“Look at my beauty” Nathan smiled looking at me, my smile widened, he walked toward me and took the plate of bread. Putting it on the table, he walked back toward me and wrapped his arms around my waist, pulling my body to him, though I couldn’t mistake his tense muscles.“Are you alright love?” I asked my mate who nodded, his eyes avoided mine and I knew that he was lying, so
Nathan:“Love, you don’t have to come with me” I told my mate who was following me toward the house where Mason was staying.“No, you will not go alone, especially not when you’re this angry” Kiara said stubbornly, her hand in mine, I chuckled and intertwined our fingers as we walked inside the house, Mason’s eyes widened when he took sight of us entering the living room, his face filled with blood, bruises were everywhere on his face and over his chest. Kiara frowned at the sight and looked away from it for a second before looking at Mason who was looking at me with challenging eyes.“Did you come to complete what your Beta has started? I’m right here, sitting in front of you” Mason mocked, I didn’t answer for a few seconds, keeping my eyes on the man who I considered once family. I had defended him more than anyone else has in his life, I even exiled his father for being abusive to him and his m
Third Person Point of View:“Mother! Father! We have to help Mason” Princess Delilah called running inside the throne room, her parents frowned in confusion at the sight of their daughter. Both of them standing up. King Alexander walked toward his daughter and put his hands on his shoulders, indicating that she breathes, but the princess was far too worried to relax. Her mind on the man that she had left to meet his face at the hands of her brother.“What happened Delilah? You look like you’ve seen a ghost” Queen Beatrice asked wide eyed. Her eyes studied her daughter’s expression with wide eyes, but her daughter was looking anywhere but her parents, her mind going back and forth between her brother who choked her, and the fact that she choked him back, then there was the fact that he found out about Mason, she knew that her brother would never let him live, especially after finding out that he knew where his wife was all along.
Third Person Point of View:She roamed around the palace knowing that it was the only thing she could actually do.Her father did not want to look at her, he made it very obvious, and she didn’t need to be sent to her chamber another time to understand it.It had been that way since Prince Nathan’s second Beta had been caught, he’s been furious with her, he’d only allow her to be in the same room as he was if they were sharing a meal, or if her teachers were to inform him about the lesson she had taken and how her performance was. She was thankful to them though, she was not doing her best, she knew that, but after almost getting slapped in front of her astrology teacher, they were all telling the king that she was doing great, and they would even help her try and do her best.“Princess Delilah, we need to go inside before the king sees us” her maid, Marie said in a low voice, the princess was not even allowed to roam t
Kiara:“Nathan, that is enough” I told my mate, it had been a month with Mason here, he’s been locked up in this house. Which now had blood on literally all its walls. Nathan had made sure to make him suffer, he made him cry for days, begging to end his life, but my mate wouldn’t allow it. He would heal him, he would let the pack doctors treat him, he’d force him to eat, then he’d repeat the process all over again.“Kiara, I told you do not interfere” Nathan said looking at me, I was stopping him from entering the house, the man had suffered enough, whatever he had committed, he was punished for it. I knew that Nathan was still determined in making him suffer, but I didn’t like this. This wasn’t my mate.“No, you are not going to enter that house Nathan, that is enough. Mason took his punishment, you have caused him enough pain, just stop” I said looking my mate in the eye. His eyes widened
Nathan:My chest ached as I thought of what my mate had said.Despite me assuring her that I was doing everything for her, I hated the fact that she didn’t see that. I knew that she was worried about me, I knew that she didn’t want my heart to darken. But she didn’t realize how much her words had hurt me.I walked toward the house where Mason was kept with a heavy heart, what I had been doing to him killed me more than it helped me. I couldn’t admit it to anyone, not even to my mate, but I was hurting. Being betrayed by my second beta, a man who I trusted, who I considered as one of my closest friends, it killed me.Walking inside the house, I looked at Mason who was sitting on the chair, his head sagged as he looked down at his lap, his body exhausted. I cleared my throat snapping him out of whatever daze he was in, he had been like that for a while, his body would jerk at the sound of my voice, or my scent. I knew that he was fri
Kiara:“Are you sure about this Kiara?” Ashton asked standing beside his little sister, she nodded to him and gave him an assuring smile. Her Ashton, Elijah, Nathan, Nina, and Grace were standing by the riverbank, waiting for King Deniz.“Would he even come?” Grace asked looking at the water.“Yes, he will, I have sent him word myself” Queen Alaura said from behind the princes and princesses, startling them. They turned around to face her, all of them bowing and she nodded smiling at them “I was aware of you planning on seeing him, I know that you want to speak to him, and he is coming for you”“Thank you, Queen Alaura” I said smiling, the queen nodded at me and looked Nathan, with a smile on her face.“You have grown child” Queen Alaura told my mate who wrapped an arm around my waist, he hadn’t grown, he had lost a glow in his eyes. I knew that it was because everything
