Gabriel thought Penelope was talking gibberish or was just trying to be sly in order to deviate the blame for kidnapping Amanda from being on him until he was hit by a great force that forced him to fall to the ground.

He stood up immediately and turned around to see who it was and where the person came from. He was surprised that he did not even sense the person’s presence.

“Who are you?” the voice said.

Gabriel was confused, he felt a grip on his neck and his legs were lifted up from the ground but there was nobody there.

“Penelope, you should have the decency to do this yourself. You’re making it weird using a shadow.” Gabriel said as he struggled to free himself but the grip was so firm that he could barely breathe.
