Mirage

Minx sighed deeply when she woke up and recognized her surrounding. Her nose was filled with the lavender scent that could only be found in her room. She opened her eyes to see Jordan who was looking intently at her with pleading eyes, hoping that she would wake up soon.

“Mommy! You’re awake.” Jordan shouted as he saw Minx open her eyes. Everyone else became alarmed and stood up from where they sat. They had been awake all night, watching over Minx and wondering what had happened to her.

Seth could not say a word about what happened because it was going to happen again and who knows, the next person may not survive if he tells them.

Dr. Bennet could not place his hands on exactly what happened to Minx. She seemed perfectly okay physically and there was no way he could go beyond that.
