Chapter 7- Consequences

Xenia screamed back," Because I wanted to take revenge on you. I wanted to avenge my brother-in-law. Because of you, he committed suicide."

Ajax blinked his eyes after hearing her. Now, what's this brother-in-law drama? He wondered what he had done to make this girl go this far that she didn't even fear for her life! He observed her face, her eyes, and her body language. Everything was saying that she was telling the truth but Ajax has zero trust in this girl. What if it's her other form of acting?

" Would you mind explaining?" Ajax asked sounding polite but the sarcasm wasn't unnoticeable.

Gulping down the lump that formed inside her throat and wiping away the sweat from her forehead she started narrating," My brother-in-law used to work under your father. My brother-in-law borrowed some money from him but couldn't return them on time. After that, your father's minions started pressuring my brother-in-law to return the money but he spent that money already. He didn't have enough money to return to your father. One day my sister and brother-in-law went to a bar to celebrate their marriage anniversary where they met some of your father's minions. They insulted my family saying that they can party but can't return the money showing excuses for financial problems. They insulted my sister in front of everyone."

Tears clouded Xenia's vision and pausing for a second she continued saying," My brother-in-law fell into depression after this incident and then committed suicide. His death pushed us into a severe financial crisis and my sister went half-mad by his death. My whole family went through a lot because of your father. That's why I wanted to take revenge on him. But, it was impossible for me to get close to him. So, I chose you. I knew that your father will be hurt seeing his only son's deeds that ruined his reputation."

Out of instinct, Xenia closed her eyes moving her face in another direction. A hand flew at her to strike right across her face but except for a sudden whiff, she didn't feel the impact. Slowly she opened her eyes. She raised her eyes only to meet Ajax's red eyes staring at her while his hand was still hanging in the air.

" Just because you are a woman I withdrew my hand. Otherwise, you would have lost all your teeth already," Ajax chewed every word he took.

Then, he shouted in her face," You had problems with my father, not me. I didn't do anything. I didn't harm your family but still, you chose to break my wedding. You pathetic bitch."

" It's a tit for tat," Xenia mumbled but it was loud enough to reach Ajax's ears.

Clutching her jaw tightly he mumbled near her ear," Do you know what I am feeling like to do to you?"

" I am feeling like hanging you upside down and beating the shit out of you. But, it would be such a small punishment for you, right?" He asked.

Xenia held his hands to free her jaw from his iron grip but failed miserably. He is six feet well-built hulk whereas she is just a fragile skinny girl. She is no match in front of him.

" Let Dimitri return home safely," Xenia managed to utter.

Ajax replied," I have no grudge against that innocent child. You used him, bitch. He will be returned home safely when you............."

" I want to poop," Xenia said out of nowhere.

Ajax curled his brows at her words. Observing her face he tried to understand if it was her other form of game or not.

" Seems like your pant got tightened by the mention of punishment!" Ajax taunted.

Xenia asked with the same intensity," Are you going to show me the way to the washroom or do you want me to shit right here."

" The washroom is that way," Ajax pointed his finger at the washroom.

Xenia forwarded her legs to leave but Ajax grabbed one of her upper arms tightly. Xenia gave him a questioning look.

Ajax opened his mouth to say something but Xenia interrupted mimicking Ajax's voice," Don't try to run away because I will find you out anyhow. Your nephew is still here so don't act like stupid. That's what you were going to say, right?"

Ajax was amused by the way she mimicked him. He wanted to laugh out loud but he controlled himself. He brought her here to punish her not to joke with her. But, he must admit that she is way different from the girls he usually meets. She is brave and bold.

" Asshole!! Why are you appreciating her? Remember she is your wedding breaker," Ajax's inner devil screamed inside him.

Clearing his throat Ajax brought back his serious expression. He opened his mouth to say something but again he was interrupted.

" I know that my nephew is still in your clutch. I know that my IQ isn't like any genius's IQ but I am smart enough to understand the danger lurking around me and my family. So, calm down," Giving him a straightforward reply she left for the washroom.

Entering the washroom the first thing she did was lock the door properly. With trembling hands, she took out her phone from her pocket and called that person who bribed her. She wasn't hoping for the call to be connected since a few hours ago this number was switched off. It seems like God heard her prayers. That woman's phone was ringing.

" Please, pick up the call. Please," Xenia was mumbling continuously while pacing here and there in the washroom.

Xenia was sweating like a pig due to nervousness. No matter how much she acts bravely in front of Ajax only she knows what she was feeling from the inside. She was hell scared.

" Hello," the woman said picking up the call.

Xenia felt like her soul just entered her body again. She said in one go," Miss X, Y or Z. Whoever you are. Please, help me from Ajax Hernandez. He is going to do worse with me."

" Wait a minute. What happened? Where are you?" The woman asked.

After that Xenia narrated the whole situation to that woman. She told how she lied to Ajax about her brother-in-law. She didn't share the truth with Ajax yet because she wanted to discuss this matter with that mysterious woman. Moreover, she promised that she will keep her mouth shut about the actual matter but she can't keep this promise which is costing her life.

Xenia thought this woman would help her but her next sentence astonished her.

" Ajax is your problem. Not mine. So, find a solution on your own," the woman said sounding untroubled.

Xenia yelled back," Bitch! I am stuck here because of you!!"

" Mind your language, girl. Otherwise, it won't take many hours for me to stitch your mouth. It was a deal between us. You did everything because you wanted money. Now, if someone is bothering you for your actions then that's not my concern," the woman replied that boiled Xenia's blood.

Xenia threatened clutching the phone angrily," If Ajax can find out about me then he can find you too. Let me just tell him the truth and then you can say that it's not your concern."

" You promised to not open your mouth," the woman reminded Xenia.

Xenia shot back," Fuck that promise. Fuck you. Help me or I will expose you in front of Ajax."

Xenia thought this time she will hear something positive but except for an evil laugh, she heard nothing. That woman was mocking Xenia.

" Midnight Cafe. Dany Evans works there. A beautiful widow. Mother of an innocent child. Just imagine tonight she didn't return home and the next day her sister got the news that Dany was gang-raped and killed. It will be such horrible news for Dany's sister right?" The woman asked.

Her voice was full of menace like Satan. Xenia felt her body turning cold from the horrible words told by this mad lady. Xenia isn't a child who won't understand that this lady was threatening her.

" No, please," Xenia requested bursting into hysterical sobbing.

The woman said," Goodbye, sweetie. Don't call me again otherwise, you don't know what I am capable of. And, one last thing. Don't open your mouth against me."

The call got disconnected. Xenia fell to her knees. Tears were already flowing down her cheeks. She lost all hope. She wasn't understanding what she should do now or who she should call for help. She was regretting her decision of doing this dangerous act.

" God!!" She mumbled shaking her head nervously.

A gasp left her mouth hearing Ajax's voice. He was shouting standing in front of the washroom door.

" Are you still pooping? Did you eat burritos last night that it's taking hours for you to shit?" Ajax's sarcastic voice reached her ear.

Xenia didn't answer his words. Wiping away her tears she took a long breath. She knew that there is no way out except to apologise. She decided to apologise genuinely but the question is 'Will Ajax forgive her?' She doesn't know what will be the consequences but she will try her last attempt.

Opening the door the first thing she did was kneel in front of him. Ajax was stunned to see her action. Joining her hands together she looked at Ajax with guilty eyes.

" I am sorry, Mr Hernandez. My anger blinded me. Please, forgive me," Xenia apologised.

Ajax burst into laughter after hearing her words. He wondered what happened inside the washroom that she is now apologising for.

" Forgive you! Is everything that easy, huh! Stand up," He commanded which she obliged.

She pleaded," I am extremely sorry. Please, forgive me. Don't let my family suffers because of me."

" Your crocodile tears won't work on me. Mind it!" He said grabbing her thin arm again.

Then, he said," You know what I thought for hours about your punishment but nothing suitable was coming into my mind. But, finally, I got it. I am going to sell you one of our brothels. I own multiple brothels. I assure you that you will get the worst place there. There will no lack of hospitality while receiving you."

Saying that he started laughing like a psycho. It wasn't needed to describe what Xenia was feeling. She was begging him to not ruin her life like that but he wasn't in the mood to hear anything.

" What about I get you arrested by the police? Certain allegations will be charged against you. You will be fined. I already know about your pocket situation. So, you can't even hire a lawyer and will rot in jail. It would be a nice punishment too," Ajax continued scaring Xenia.

But, the next moment he grabbed her arms tightly. He lifted her a little bit and now she was just a few inches away from him. She could feel his minty fresh breath fanning her skin.

" I am not going to do any of them. You told in front of everyone that you were my personal entertainer, right?" He asked shaking her angrily.

She replied crying," Sorry."

" Let's fulfil your wish. From this onwards, you will entertain me. You will be my whore," he whispered in her ear.

With this one sentence, her world collapsed in front of her. She just wanted to help her family financially. If she knew that it would cost her dignity then she would have never done such an act.

" You whore!! Strip for your master, right now," He commanded smirking.
