Zephyr’s rune was shining brightly from the new information he had just gotten. Zephyr sped forth with vigor, though his expression was one of serious concern. After undergoing a spiritual metamorphosis, Zephyr’s rune had felt nothing but a sharp, subtle pain since, as though something was trying to claw out of it.Zephyr had felt this sensation before, it was at the beginning, though he paid it no mind as it disappeared quickly without a trace. That sudden pain almost felt like a hallucination. However, after achieving spirit creation and the bolstering of his spiritual energy, the painful sensation appeared once again.“Damn it!” Zephyr cursed while grabbing his forehead. He expressed a deep frown. He had covered at least ten miles by then, though the pain did not go away. It continued all the while he traveled. As Zephyr was readying himself to go forth once more, a great wave of wicked energy came down upon him. It felt as though a great mountain of evil was trying to crush him.
A sudden frantic burst of sound rushed over. At the heart of the altar, within its circular core, countless streams of wicked energy emerged. They quickly floated over, bringing with them a dark purplish light. This ray of light came with corrosive powers, in an instant, the area around it was riddled with holes and decay.“Sh*t!” Zephyr cursed. He did not expect the altar’s sudden changes. He quickly lept away from the burst of attack, dodging to the sides. The wicked energy that was hot to the touch came at Zephyr, but it quickly disappeared before him. It appeared once more elsewhere, shooting up into the sky like a sharp cleaver, before morphing into a terrible tornado.Zephyr’s behavior turned more frantic. He did not expect the ray of light to harbor such powers. He knew he could not hold against what he just witnessed. As if sensing Zephyr’s successful dodge, the altar seemed to have been angered. The ground started to tremble. Next, within the altar’s core, the runes began to
“What’s this power?!’ Zephyr thought as he felt the power emanate from his rune, unheeding of his commands, of his once very certain control. At this point, the tendrils had come together into a drill-like form, launching itself at Zephyr. He was only seconds away from being pierced. The lightning powers suddenly felt too overwhelming for Zephyr to bear. Then, a 300 foot long bolt of lightning suddenly formed, and it came down upon the drill, severing it to shreds Once the clash was over, it returned to Zephyr’s hand. ‘There it is!’ Zephyr thought, feeling the electricity course within him. He now realized the reason as to why his rune had been acting up ever since he arrived at the Land of Ghosts. It was probably because of the altar.Within the evil eye was something that the rune needed, wanted even. It was probably because of this, that he was led to the sudden shift and unpredictability of his electrical energies. It was all because of something the rune needed, thus leading to
The python’s evil aura caught up to Zephyr, quickly wrapping around him like a chain. “Damn it, what’s going on? My electricity powers should have finished that thing by now!” Zephyr gasped. His electricity was beginning to gather once again, coming together to form a protective barrier. However, Zephyr was too shocked to realize anything as the python wrapped around him, even his electrical powers were powerless at stopping it. Even his rune was shaking, but it was in a rather fondly manner. As though they were being served a warm meal after countless days of hunger. Before Zephyr could react, his rune shined brightly. In an instant, Zephyr was suddenly covered in streams of electricity. It wrapped the wicked python as well. The apparition felt the sudden electrical arrival, so it started to twist and contort, trying to free itself.Zephyr’s rune flashed constantly as a great wave of energy poured over. There was no escaping for the evil energies now. The electricity was holding it
‘Sh*t, I’ve been found!’ Zephyr thought. He had not expected a monolith within the castle. Monoliths were things of magic, requiring vast amounts of energy to produce. They were often utilized as obstacles to protect those beyond its borders. No one could freely enter nor proceed without the proper permission. If contact was made, those connected with the monolith would sense the intruders. As Zephyr’s Lightning Sense was used, his electric signature no doubt made contact with it, even if it was a weak one. Instantaneously, the monolith was stirred. Zephyr quickly dodged to the side upon hearing the booming hostile voice. There, he noticed many large bones dotting the Bone Hall’s surrounding area. Each of them was as tall as a person, therefore making it easy for Zephyr to hide behind them. He quickly found a place to hide, as noises from within the Bone Hall rushed out.Three men appeared, they were dressed in crimson robes as they rushed out. Among them, one wore a black crown and
Stream after stream of energy washed through the area. The three people were beginning to enlarge their search area. The two who learned about the severity of the situation became even more careful when it came to searching now. One of them even began to manually search the large bones alongside using their senses. Soon, there would come a time where they would encounter Zephyr.Zephyr began to collect his energies. It would seem a fight was inevitable. Since his last breakthrough, Zephyr still had not gotten the chance to battle any fighter. Although this group of people was strong, Zephyr was itching to try out his newfound abilities.“You two, search there! I’ll search over here!” Bodrick commanded. ‘This would be a great opportunity to test it out!’ Zephyr thought. Soon, sparks began to form in his palms. These two were Agiles of level four. Although they were probably normal members, their prowess far surpassed Zephyr’s. Regardless, Zephyr knew he could easily dispose of them.“Th
The ringing of a sword was heard. Draken was now on a higher plane, each strike Zephyr released brought with it the sharpness and force of a hundred other sword blades. Bodrick was forced into a retreat under such power. Bodrick was far stronger than Zephyr, being an Agile of level six, he should be able to instantly kill Zephyr who was four levels lower than him. However, he could only retreat under such circumstances, it looked as though he was fearful of Zephyr’s electrical might.Although lightning could not be categorized under the other elements, it had unique, augmenting attributes that made it a powerful and valued skill. Its cleansing properties were much regarded as well. However, this did not bode well for Bodrick, especially since the youngster before him was but an Agile of level two.Usually, he had no gripes with killing lesser weaklings in one move. However, Zephyr’s electricity was too much of a hassle to bear. It came at him relentlessly and devoured his wicked attack
“Apparently, this b*stard’s energy had properties that were capable of rotting flesh and corroding energy. If it weren’t for my Might, I doubt I would’ve been able to expel his wicked effects!” Zephyr gasped. As Zephyr was busy tending to his wounds, he pondered returning swiftly to the Academy to inform the leaders. However, a sudden gust of strange energy came rushing over from within the Bone Hall.Suddenly, many streams and surges of energy began to emanate around the Hall, all carrying wicked, evil, and strange auras. It was as though the devil itself was rising. Before Zephyr could react, a great pillar of dark light shot out into the sky. It carried an immense demonic force, kicking up everything around it.“Oh, sh*t!” Zephyr cursed. Based on Bodrick and his lackeys’ conversation, he guessed this was the doing of a stronger fighter within the Bone Hall, one who was busy training. Bodrick was an Agile of level six, which meant that his lord was probably much stronger than he was.
