Sebastian and I spent the rest of the day at my grandparents’ house, watching over mom. With each time she drank dragon blood, she looked more like her previous self and stronger. At two a.m., Grandma Gabi drew another sample of mom’s blood and smiled as she walked out of the house, “This should be the last time. The last blood draw looked really close to the way it should. Queen Lori and I went to grandma’s house and found that all the guys were gone and the stylists and makeup artists were setting up their chairs and workstations. I went to the kitchen first and got a bottle of water. I found mom and asked, “Have you heard from Grandma Gabi?” Mom smiled the biggest smile I’ve seen on her face in a long time, “The labs came back perfect. No more anti-rejection meds. I feel great. Baby girl, thank you for talking to Aidinth about the dragon blood idea. I never even thought of it.” I smiled as I hugged her tightly, “I’m so glad it worked. In my drugged haze, I heard Victor yell, “Shit! What the fuck did you do, my queen?
