We stayed in town for the better part of the day and went back to the castle at sundown. When we got there, my parents were in the foyer. My dad sighed in relief, “We were thinking of coming to look for you two. We heard that there is a dark warlock in town who is looking for you.” My eyes went wide as I looked at Sebastian, “I wonder if that was the guy who was staring at me in the bakery?” He shrugged, “It could’ve been.” Dad asked, “Who are you talking about?” Sebastian explained, “There was a guy staring at her while we were at the bakery. I even suggested that I go talk to him.” Dad asked, “What did the guy do?” I explained, “I suggested we go do our thing and let him go. Now I’m wishing we hadn’t.” Dad agreed, “That was probably not the best idea, but we will just need to deal with it. You do still have the spell that keeps dark warlocks from using their magic on you and it keeps you from being teleported against your will. So, you are protected from that. Just be careful, baby

We all walked to Chloe’s suite and there were chairs set up for all of us. There was also a table with a variety of meats, cheeses, crackers, veggies and fruits set up, then another table of various pastries with drinks. I laughed, “Well, Chloe, it looks like you have it set up so that we won’t have to leave this room.” She laughed, “It was totally intentional. I also sent staff to go get your dresses and shoes from your mother’s closet.” I smiled, “You are a very wise woman. So, after the ceremony, should we come back here to change for the reception?” She nodded, “Definitely. This room is set up for that particular purpose tonight. It’s closer to the reception halls than your rooms are.” I nodded, “Perfect.” She smiled, “Don’t worry, your clothes and dresses from the ceremony will be taken to your rooms by the staff.” I sighed, “Thank you.” We all sat down and got comfortable while the stylists worked on our hair, two people at a time. When those two women were done, they would move

I smiled at my mate as my dad nudged him and laughed, “Don’t you think you should’ve mind linked that?” Sebastian laughed, “I want everyone to know my mate is beautiful. I’m proud to have her by my side.” My dad responded, “That’s a perfect response. You were made to be my daughter’s mate. Now you better get to her before someone else tries to scoop her up.” Sebastian ran to her and held her hands, “You look so good, love.” I smiled as I looked upon my handsome mate, dressed in a tailored black suit with a sky-blue shirt and black tie, “Thank you, babe. You look amazing too.” He nodded in acknowledgement, “Shall we go see how many heads you turn in there?” I laughed, “I think we should go ahead and sit down.” We walked into the hall and took our seats next to my brothers. Micah leaned over and whispered in my ear, “You look beautiful, sis. Looks like I’m going to have to help your mate fight off some dragons.” I laughed, “I will fight alongside you. I don’t want that kind of attention

I screamed in happiness and mom started crying. I mind linked all of my family, “Mom just got the call. They found a kidney for her. We need to go NOW.” Then I mind linked Sebastian, “My love, mom just got the call. They found a kidney for her. We need to get back as quickly as possible.” Sebastian replied, “Of course! I will call the pilot now to ready the plane.” I smiled, “Thank you, love.” Apparently, dad told Aidinth and Chloe about our situation because they followed dad and my sisters out. Aidinth approached us, “Please, take our helicopter to the airport. We have the staff packing your things to meet you on the roof right now.” Sebastian nodded, “I have already called my pilot to ready the jet.” I hugged Aidinth and Chloe, “Thank you both, so much. Please pray to the Goddess this works. I’m scared to death right now.” Chloe smiled as she cupped my face in her hands, “We’ll be praying, but she will be fine. Don’t forget my abilities. Just stay positive. Okay?” I nodded, “Thank y

While Sebastian and Alex were gone, Lizzy sat next to me, “I really like Sebastian, sis. He’s a really good guy. We can all tell he’s crazy about you.” I smiled as I put my arm around her, “Thanks, sis. I’m pretty crazy about him too.” She asked, “Does he have any younger brothers?” I laughed, “I think he does. I’m sure you’ll get plenty of chances to meet them. He is the only male in a set of quadruplets, so we have invited his sisters here next week.” Lizzy gasped, “Are you serious? What are the odds? That is crazy!” Then she gasped again as her eyes went wide, “What if his sisters are mates with our brothers? Wouldn’t that be awesome?” I laughed, “It would. But don’t tell the brothers they’re coming. I don’t want them running off and avoiding them.” Lizzy laughed, “I bet they would do that too.” I nodded, “Me too.” She smirked, “Your secret’s safe with me.” When Sebastian and Alex got back, they started handing out the pizzas. I tried to wake dad, but he was not waking up. Zach chu

That night, dad informed us that he was not going to leave mom while she was there, so I asked, “Do you think you can get breakfast here in the morning?” He nodded, “Of course.” I sighed, “We will stay in our wing of the castle and I will make supper. I can bring some to you.” Dad replied, “That would be good. There is no substitute for good cooking.” I added, “I’ll ask the doctor about dietary restrictions for mom too. I may have to let them cook for her until her kidneys are working properly.” Dad replied, “When the original injury happened, it was nearly three weeks before she could eat regular food. She was about to go crazy for a steak by the time it was over.” I laughed, “Hopefully we can get her real food sooner than that this time.” It has now been four days since mom’s surgery and we could not be happier with her progress. She is now sitting up and eating a liquid diet. Her urine has cleared up. There was no longer blood in it. I have been cooking for all of us and I’ve been

Two days later, I was rushing around the house, trying to make sure the house is clean, the bedrooms are good, and making a nice lunch for when my mate’s sisters arrived. Sebastian was laughing at me, “Love, they’re just my sisters. Everything here is fine. They aren’t snobs and they aren’t picky.” I gasped, “But I still want to make an excellent first impression.” He smiled as he pulled me close, “Just be the mate that I have come to love and they will love you as much as I do.” I sighed as I snuggled close to him, “I hope so. I really want them to like me. I could care less if the rest of your family likes me, I just want your quad to like me. Oh yeah. I forgot something. Do you have any brothers who are Lizzy and Emily’s age?” He laughed, “I do, but do you really want me to introduce them to your sisters?” I shrugged, “If they’re anything like you? Yes. I would trust them with my sisters.” He cupped my face with his hands and kissed me gently, “You are so sweet.” I smiled, “I would

Quinn ran into Micah’s arms and purred, “Mate!” I started jumping up and down while I was getting it all on video. I was so excited. Sebastian was standing behind me with his arms around my waist, “You’re getting what you wanted, love. Plus, my sisters are getting mates that I like. I think this is a win all around. I know your parents will be happy about it.” I smiled as I watched Micah and Quinn go to the living room and sit down. That was when Zach came barreling into the house and Sam ran at full speed and jumped into Zach’s arms as they both yelled, “Mate!” I laughed at the way they rushed toward each other. They went to the table and sat down, but Zach refused to put her down. She sat on his lap as they talked and waited for dinner. Alex walked in sniffing around and calmly walked up to Grace. He gently touched her face with his hand as he whispered, “Mate.” She moved in closer to him and purred, “Mate.” Alex picked her up, bridal style, and asked, “Do you want to talk in the li

The next morning, I woke up earlier than everyone else, thankful for the soundproofing in the bedrooms. Thankful because all of my brothers stayed at our house, even though their house is less than one hundred feet from ours and I did not want to hear what they were doing. Sebastian was in full agreement with me too. I took my shower, got dressed and walked downstairs to start breakfast. I looked in the refrigerator and decided on blueberry waffles, bacon and sausage links. I started making the waffle batter while the waffle iron was heating. I poured myself a cup of coffee and I was ready to get going. I poured some batter in the waffle iron and called grandma. She answered on the first ring, “Hey baby girl, you’re up early.” I smiled, “I am. Did Grandma Abby tell you that I found my mate?” Grandma replied, “She did. When am I going to get to meet this handsome werecat?” I laughed, “At the same time you meet his sisters. He is the only male in a quad and guess what?” Grandma chuckled,

My quadruplets are five years old now and we have added five more children to the family since then. We had a set of triplets when the quad was two, and then a set of twins last year. To say I have been busy would be an understatement. My triplets, Eddie, Cade and Damien are quite the handful. I’ve tried to get Sebastian to intervene, but he just says, “They’re just boys.” My twins, Allie, short for Allison, and Emma turned one today. We had a huge playground installed at the castle and our kids just love it. We are giving all the kids in our children’s age groups the day off from training so we can celebrate the twins’ birthday. As we watched all the kids play, Joshua asked, “Mom, does the quad have to be here?” I laughed because all the kids in our quad are way more intelligent and mature than they should be. By the time they were three all four of them knew how to read and were highly skilled on the computer. I sighed, “But don’t you want to wish the twins a happy birthday?” He ga

Sebastian and I have been officially on the throne for three months and I am now miserably pregnant. My belly is absolutely huge and Sebastian loves watching me waddle everywhere I walk. I, on the other hand, seem to be nesting. I got all of the blankets for our little ones crocheted and I have been doing a lot of extra cleaning lately. I was cleaning the bathroom when Sebastian reminded me, “Babe, we have staff that do that. You don’t need to. If you want to do something for the babies, why don’t you crochet some more stuff. You could make little booties or hats for them. I smiled, “I think you’re right. Thank you.” I grabbed some yarn and a hook and sat down on the couch. I got up almost immediately and started walking away. Sebastian asked, “What’s wrong?” I sighed, “I have to pee… again.” He chuckled, “It’s almost over, babe.” I smiled, “I know.” I got to the bathroom and felt a gush of water. I knew I hadn’t peed, then looked down at the puddle under my feet. I walked back to the

When Sebastian and I got to the hall entrance the doors were closed and they were waiting for everyone to take their places. While we waited, I looked around us. There was a man behind Sebastian who was highlighted in red. With one hand, I conjured a dagger of ice. Just as he was raising is hand with a dagger of his own, I threw my dagger at him and it pierced his eye and went into his brain. He instantly fell backward, dead. Sebastian looked at me, surprised, “Was it a highlighted one?” I chuckled, “He was literally seconds from plunging a dagger into your back. I’m just glad I saw him.” He smiled, “I’m glad you did too.” Just then, the doors opened and we locked arms. I guess I was gripping his arm a little tighter than I meant to because he mumbled, “You are cutting off the circulation to my hand, love. Relax.” I chuckled as I loosened my grip on his arm, “Sorry, babe.” He chuckled, “No problem.” When we got to the stage, we walked up the steps and stood in front of King Quincy and

I woke up the next morning with my first thought being, “Holy shit! Today is Coronation Day!” I didn’t even take a second to stretch before jumping out of bed and practically running to the bathroom to take a shower. After taking my shower, I went to our closet and put on a sundress until it was time to get ready for the event. I went to the kitchen and poured myself a cup of coffee and sat in my favorite chaise lounge chair by the windows. I hadn’t been there long when my mom walked in. She poured a cup of coffee for herself and sat at the other end of my chair looking out the windows, “Are these the same kind of windows we have?” I nodded, “Yep. I like the idea of me seeing out, but no one can see in.” Mom agreed, “I always liked that too. Are you ready for your crowning ceremony?” I smiled, “I am. I was nervous at first, but Queen Lori told me that I’ve been doing the duties of a queen since I got here.” Mom laughed, “Being a queen is no different than being a luna. You are the moth

We spent more time than we originally planned in town and we had so much fun. After more baby shopping, Sebastian took me to a bakery that also sold ice cream. I ordered a jelly donut and a scoop of cherry ice cream, while Sebastian went with the classic apple turnover with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. I reveled in the taste of my sweet treat and Sebastian laughed at me. I shrugged, “What? It’s good.” I filled a fork full of it and held it to his lips. He took a bite and smiled, “I guess you’re right. I never thought of that combination.” I smiled, “Now, I just need to learn how to make jelly filled donuts. I already know how to make the regular ones.” His eyes went wide, “You know how to make donuts?” I laughed, “I do. Would you like those for breakfast tomorrow?” He replied, “Probably not tomorrow. We should eat in the dining room tomorrow morning with it being coronation day and all the guests we have coming.” I looked at my phone and gasped, “Guests! My family is probably at the c

I woke up this morning, stretching and enjoying the sunlight streaming into our room. We have been moved into our wing of the castle for almost a full week and I have been thoroughly enjoying being able to cook for my mate. Once in a while we invite his parents over for dinner, just to see how they like being out of the castle and to consult with them on small issues. I got out of bed and headed to our kitchen to grab a cup of coffee. I moved to the chaise lounge by the window and sat there, looking outside, while I drank my coffee to wake up for a bit. As I sat there, I had to think about everything that needed to be done today. It’s the day before our coronation, so my family will be here today. I’m so excited to see them. As busy as I have been, I still miss them. I finish my first cup of coffee and sigh as I get out of my chair. I went to the kitchen and started making the biscuits for breakfast. As soon as they were cut out, I started making the sausage and bacon. When the sausa

It has been a week since Yahir was captured. King Quincy had sentenced him to death after one week of taking fifty whip lashes daily. Today is the day he is put to death and I am looking forward to it. His mate’s parents were sitting in front of us and I placed one hand on the mother’s shoulder and my other hand on her father’s shoulder in a gesture of comfort. I released a small amount of my omega waves and they visibly relaxed. The mother smiled at me, “Thank you, princess.” I smiled, “You’re very welcome. This may get a little gross. Let me know if you need more.” She smiled, “Thank you.” Just minutes later, Yahir was brought out, his entire backside, including the backs of his legs, was covered in bloody slashes. He was led to a wall, his arms spread out and wrists cuffed to the wall. His ankles restrained to the wall with his shackles. King Quincy sat in his throne and one of the warriors stepped forward to face us, “We are here to witness the execution of Yahir for the charges o

When they landed, I noticed that their hands were all forced to stay straight at their sides. The man in front was a tall, slim, man with long brown hair and brown eyes. I noticed that his eyes looked sunken in and his complexion pale. The men behind him looked like death warmed over. They were all skinny, eyes sunken in, and pale complexions, so I knew something had happened to them that was making them waste away. Possibly a rejection. The man in front stood there with a smirk on his face, “So you figured out a way to find me. I have to tell you, though, this isn’t all of my army.” Queen Lori laughed, “The rest are probably in our dungeons.” Queen Winnie added, “Or they aren’t very committed to your cause.” Yahir responded, “No, they are just good at hiding.” I laughed, “I guess we will find out.” King Quincy had some warriors grab them, “Take them to the dungeons and guard Yahir diligently.” After the guards took them away, Queen Winnie raised her arms again and cast the spell agai
