"Milady!"
I don't know how this happened in the first place. But I can guess that all this happened because of Pasha's crying. I woke up to calm Pasha back to sleep, while Merri was on guard.
But it seems Pasha's cries have been heard by the monsters who are not far from where we are. I could feel the vibrations of their movement from my feet. Those were thrilling moments.
And what's even more unfortunate is that I failed to control my magic, so somehow, the ground sticks out to the surface instead of making a deep hole for us to enter.
"Milady?" Merri carried Pasha who was wailing even more because he probably sensed our panic.
Merri has prepared with her new weapon, namely a blue fire whip in her hand.
"Shit! Shit! Why isn't this working?!” I cursed at the mound of earth that had sprung up from my magic.
“Grarwra! Grr." The monsters' growls were getting louder and clearer as I started to catch their large figures.
