Should Be Mine

“Lady Sarah Lawrenttio – ah, wrong, Lady Sarah Lanchaster, are you content by playing the foster daughter of a Count?” there's a hint of sarcasm in the intonation.

The low-pitched voice along with the cold tone penetrated Sarah's ear. She lifted her head up. Hayden stood with one arm leaning on a window and looked down at her with that fierce look.

Hayden had no intention of elevating Count Lanchaster's status. He only wants his wealth whenever possible. But Sarah instead surprised him by becoming his foster daughter at the big annual event held by the royal family. It would be troublesome for him the next time he appointed Sarah as his consort.

Thinking about the events that happened that night, his blood boils.

“Your Highness Hayden, my dear, are you still mad about that? How long are you going to avoid me?”

For a moment, they could only hear the sound of the wind as there is no reply whatsoever from Hayden.
