That came sooner than expected. Ah no. It came as fast as I thought it will be. Really tho, how quickly do they want to get rid of us, even though we didn't do anything to harm them. It's really unfair.

I watched Merri who was in front of the gate receive a messenger from the palace. I don't know what Merri was talking about with the messenger, but it seemed like it was taking longer than necessary. Not only that, but I also saw Merri's body shake as if she was holding about to get angry. Her shoulders heave up and down, while her hands hang around her waist.

Anyone who knew Merri would know that she was angry even from behind.

"Come on Pasha, let's see what aunt Merri is doing in front." I carried Pasha.

My guess is right. The closer I got, the more I heard Merri's voice rise. She was having an argument with a man in uniform, the messenger.

"What happened here?" I asked. My presence brought the two of them to a halt and turned their attention to me.
