Wedding Card

With a smirk, Oliver threw a bunch of Cash and a wedding card at Diana and then said,

"Get yourself medical attention and that's my wedding card!"

The words pierced into Diana as the bunch of Cash and wedding card landed on her body.

Oliver entered his car immediately. The next moment he was already driving off. Meanwhile, Diana was strongly heartbroken but it didn't stoped the fury and rage in her eyes. She radiated and exuded a murderous intent towards him as her eyes caught the glimpse of the wedding card. She bent down to pick it and was further shocked. Oliver was getting married to Emily? Ethan's sister? The daughter of the Wakin's?

Diana's expression changed all of a sudden. After all she did for Oliver, he didn't just break her heart, he was getting married to the daughter of the family that forcefully got her into prison? Ethan being the one that made the passes at her three years ago.

" Did this just happened?" She asked herself in a puzzled look. She furrowed her eyebrows as she couldn't believe that Oliver could do something like this.

Back then when she was arrested, Oliver had nothing and he screamed in tears saying that, he would wait to marry her once she was released from prison and by then he would be a billionaire and they will liver happily ever after.

A sob rose in Diana's chest. She cried inside.

"Hello. Are you good?" Jason inquired looking almost surprise, trying to get Diana to her feet. A minute ago, she dropped to her knees when she read the wedding invitation card.

"Yea I'm good!" Diana managed to answer. Despite her heart aching and sinking to the bottomless pit of pains and regret.

"Diana???" Jason looked surprised as he scrutinized her. He seemed to remember her now. Why won't he? She was her best friend at college and three years ago after she went to prison and they got separated. "She is obviously back from prison! Hummph, won't his reputation be tainted for mingling with an ex-convict?"

However, Jason couldn't help staring at her. She still looked beautiful!

"I'll make him pay!" Diana said angrily as she watched Oliver's car disappear into the thin air.

"He should continue running like a coward! Diana smirked as her gaze turned frosty and a murderous emanated from her body.

Jason didn't quite well understood why she was saying what she was saying but it was clearly not because he knocked into her with his car. There were clearly more to it.

"Let's leave the road Diana..." Jason proposed, it was unsafe as the road were busy with flashy cars and pedestrians.

"Let's get into my car! I can't be seen talking with an ex-convict publicly. It will affect my business!" With that said, his Lamborghini Aventador doors opened automatically, just few metres behind, and Diana with a sense of hesitation and shock turned following Jason closely and then entered into the passenger seat in front while Jason walked around and entered, sitting at the drivers seat.

Meantime, some beggars around rushed the bunch of Cash that Diana left behind on the floor.

"I hope you're good? I need to get you to the hospital..." Jason inquired and proposed.

"No don't worry... I'm good! Just heartbroken, Yunno!" Diana answered,

"Oh, I thought as much.. hope you heal from it soon!" Jason comforted her. He was smart to discern that something subsist between Diana and the arrogant Oliver.

"Anyways, It's been long my dear friend! Where were you heading to?" Jason immediately initiated a conversation after he buttoned his seatbelt.. he seemed excited reconnecting with an old friend.

"And just Incase you bump into him again....... He will be getting married to Emily, the heiress of the Wakin's family and it's best you don't get into his trouble. None had lived to tell the story!" Jason added.

Diana appreciated the fact that he felt concerned for her and he only gave out a sluggish smile.

"I was actually on my way to central Delta district as well, and it was because of you that I spotted that prompted me to cross the road to meet you.... And about him, he is a coward!." Diana responded with a forced smile,this time around.

"Well, Your stay at The Rock Prison must have taught you alot. Next time, you will be careful who you hit and maybe if you had done something drastic to him , by now you'll be on your way back to prison, this time for longer years.... And besides I'm heading to central Delta district too. I live there now! " Jason responded and started the car engines which roared to life.

Diana clenched her fist tightly. Wakin's family all the time! They will definitely pay!

Meanwhile, Oliver back at his car exhaled deeply. He was not surprised the way he ran off like a coward. He was not expecting to cross paths with Diana again and he had just did. He sensed the fury and tension in the air early and from the way Diana angrily stared at him, she would have done something bad to him!

"Oh her parents!..." He smirked.

"One who fights and run, shall live to fight another day"... Oliver found comfort on that!

On the way, Diana glanced at Jason and wanted to explain herself. But the word's wouldn't just come out.

Jason who is naturally a sensitive person could tell she was holding back something. So, he broke the silence with the intent of getting words out of her.

"You're not always this quiet. You used to be an introverted talkative, especially around me!"

"Well, a lot has changed." Diana bit her lips. "You can't imagine the degree of living monstrosity the Rock is!"

Jason kept mute, on the driving wheels.. careful not to drive wrong! But something pierced him. "Diana must have been through a lot! How did you end up in the Rock?" He finally popped the question.

" Everyone believed that spoilt brat! Ethan!. "No one knows he was trying to take advantage of Diana and she only defended herself by smashing a bottle unto his head. What? Does that matter anymore? She had already served three years in jail for a single act of defense! Damn!"

"And just few minutes ago, his ex boyfriend who hurt and betrayed her almost killed her! And he was still a loud mouth! Well she is back... She will surely make them pay!"

Diana explained just that.....

It took a while before Diana continued. She sighed to collect herself before continuing..

"Right now, I need to get my parents out of slavery from the Wakin's family, they've kept them slaves for the past three years.....for my irrational actions three years ago" Then a tear flowed down her cheeks. It pained her knowing all of this, she wiped it off and continued " and I'm heading to Central Delta District to meet someone who will happen to be my alliance.."

"I can't believe my parents are slave to those monsters who unjustly got me into a three years prison sentence!" She muttered internally with rage.

"Sorry....", Jason said, that was all he could say. He was completely speechless.

The next moment, silence enveloped the car. As Diana sob intensified.

"That was not the news that broke out. Could she be telling the truth? Diana doesn't know how to lie...!" Jason thought.

Before they knew it, they had already arrived at Central Delta district.

"Cheer up! All that happened in the past. Let's look into the future. So, where is the address?" Jason comforted and inquired.

"Yea right!"

"No 10!"

Then suddenly Jason marched the breaks tightly, screeching the tyres tightly against the road that if not Diana was wearing her seatbelt it may cause her to jerk forward and hit her head on the windshield.

"Why did you suddenly stopped the car?" Diana demanded. She was not expecting it and it kind of inconvenienced her.

Many passerbys stopped to look at the Lamborghini Aventador and were trying to get a glimpse of who was driving it. But they couldn't. The windshields were all tinted black and it deterred anyone's effort of seeing through. Only those who know it was Jason's car deduced Jason must be the one who marched those breaks.

"Well that's my address! And I live there alone!"
