Karien's Pov
"You okay?" I raised a question to her when she was crying out my name in the middle of the night.
She was fine before I left her in the room. It was strange when I heard her calling my name. I thought she was attacked by some werewolves but when I entered her room, she was wet in her sweats.
She murmured continuously as she did before in the mansion. She must be having nightmares again. I shook her and she hardly came to consciousness.
When she did, she stares at me like she wasn't expecting me to be there. She sobbed as she saw me and squeezed me in her arms.
"You are alive, you are alive, Karien" she continues to repeat it after finding me in her room.
"Of course, I am alive. Why? You want me to die?" I said and she jerked and stared at me.
"No...never... You can't die without my permission. I won't let you die." She replied pulling me towards her again.
