Debra's Pov
Fuck! Why am I even assuming unnecessary guesses? He can't be. He is a human and that's all I have to know.
Getting out of my thoughts, I followed Karien to the car and so did Jason. Both of us waved goodbye to Teresa. Parting was the hardest part for us all.
Teresa's eyes were watery and so did mine. But there was no way to step back now. My heartfelt heavy all of sudden, felt like I was parting from my mother.
Karien was seeing me cry hence he passed me a tissue. A few minutes ago I was making fun of Karien and laughing at him. And now I was sobbing like a child.
"Maybe I should change your name and start calling you crybaby, Debra," Karien whispers as he gets closer to my ear.
I turned my eyes straight to his face and glared. He smiled hesitantly and moved his hip back to his place. Guess he understood my mood clearly.
