“Feeling better” passing her the glass of water, I asked her. She seemed to be calmer than before.
“Yes…..” She said nothing more than yes and smile forcibly. Her skin was pale and her lips were dry. She was hesitating to say anything.
“If you don’t mind, can I ask you a question?” I took the chance to ask her about her condition before. She looked scared and why she was saying she was mentioning me.
Then she straightly refused and shook her head as no. I didn’t dare to ask her further or force her to say anything. She must have her reason for refusing or she already knew what I was gonna ask and didn’t want to answer those questions.
“Alright then, do you want me to company you tonight? I see you are not feeling well. You may need me for something.” I again
