Chapter 2.

"What?... What did you say?" Hayley asked with terror in her voice.

Her father looked at her with anger, but he still felt sorry for his daughter, however, his anger overpowered everything.

"I have been putting up with your bullshit since a long time and I am done with it Hayley, I have had enough with you, you bullied your sister, you are rude to your mother , you are wolfless, weak and even after that I put up with you.

But this time you have crossed a line! You became pregnant out of the mate bond! Just how much more shame are you going to bring to our family!"

Hayley was not even listening to what her father was saying. She was shocked and was numb at this point.

She felt no physical pain or anything and just kept on staring at nothing.

Her father looked at her story state and just walked out of there with disgust.

After a long, long time Hayley got up from the bed and walked out of the room, she walked out of the building and walked to where everyone was having lunch.

Hayley was standing at the corner and from there she saw, she finally saw, Nathan standing beside her sister Jasmine.

His hand was around her waist and he was hugging her tightly as they both smiled and welcomed the guest.

Hayley watched with anger, she clenched her fists and her eyes were filled with tears as she watched the so-called beautiful couple before her.

So, in the end Nathan also betrayed her.

Nathan felt someone's gaze over him and he looked at the corner only to see Hayley standing over there, looking pale as a ghost but still she looked hauntingly beautiful.

Nathan's heart clenched when he looked at her .

Hayley then turned around and left for a while, while Nathan followed her out.

Hayley walked to a secluded place as she heard Nathan's voice calling for her, "Hayley, Hayley please listen to me Hayley please... just stop right there Hayley."

He said as he ran to her and grabbed her hand making her stop.

Hayley stopped but she stared ahead at nothing and did not respond to Nathan at all.

Nathan came before her and grabbed her chin making her look at her, Nathan looked at her with pain in his eyes.

Anyone who would see this, would think that Nathan was deeply hurt and actually cared about Hayley when he saw her like this.

"Hayley..." he said as he hugged her but Hayley didn't move, while Nathan said, "I am sorry, but I swear I had to do that, for our own good, your father was going to help me be the alpha, that was what your step-mother had promised me.

Only if I married her daughter... Hayley, for us to be safe and secure, I know that you have suffered greatly but-"

"But what?" Hayley asked, "my child is dead."

"Our child -"

"No. My. Child." Hayley said clearly, "My child is dead, and you killed it, if you wanted to reject me then you should have done, that If you didn't want me then you should have told me, I would have left with my child! Why did you have to kill it!"

Nathan sighed and said with a gentle smile, "Why do you think that I didn't want you? I want you, Hayley. I still do, and we can make another child, it's just that this was not the time for the child to be born."

Hayley frowned when she heard this and said, "What the hell do you mean? Another child? You are with Jasmine now."

"But that does not mean that we have to stop seeing each other? We can still make our love bloom away from everyone's eyes."

Hayley was beyond disgusted at this point when she heard that, "what the hell did you just say?" she asked.

Nathan gave her a smile and said, "I said that we should keep seeing each other."

Hayley took a step back, she felt disgusted, really really disgusted, she felt nauseating; she wanted to puke and wanted to hide somewhere.

She just took a step back and Nathan tried to reach her, but this time she did not let him touch her and ran.

She ran and ran and ran with full speed into the forest.

She was barefoot but she didn't care at this point she just ran and ran and in the middle of running she jumped high and transformed into a beautiful wolf.

It's not that she could not transform, she just never told anyone.

She remembered when her transformation had occurred it was on the same day when her father had made her brother the beta.

And she wanted to talk to him and tell him that she can be a beta too since she had a wolf, but her father didn't even bother to listen to her and just told her on her face that she was a disgrace.

She was not invited to the party that was being held for her brother, and how proud he was that someone like Miles was his heir and not someone like her.

And it was that day when Hayley knew that her father never really wanted her to be the beta, it was all excuses.

And so Hayley never told her father anything about herself.

After hours of running she finally stopped.

And turned back into her human form and wore her clothes again.

She walked onto the road, that was at the end of the woods and she knew that she was out of the pack and it was really refreshing.

he felt so much free and so much amazing right now, that she never really want to go back.

She stared up in the sky and sighed, before she started to walk barefoot on the cold road.

But her peaceful walk was interrupted once she heard a groan, she paused at her place before she saw something before her; she saw a man who seemed to be injured fighting at least four people together.

"Fuckers! How dare you even try to harm me!" The man said he seemed to be filled with rage before he killed all those people, making Hayley shocked at the sheer strength of this man.

After the people were killed, the man also kneeled on the floor and coughed blood.

She heard more footsteps, and she knew that danger was coming, she tried to turn back and wanted to run back but then she looked back at the man and thought for a while before she went to the man and grabbed his hand.

The man glared at her and turned his neck at her, and that was when Hayley saw the man's blood-red eyes, and his fangs, realizing that the man before her was a vampire.

"I want to help." Hayley said, "I can hear more people coming to you. I can take you to a safe place."

She said, and the man stared at her for sometime before he said, "if you dared to try something funny then I will kill you and your entire family."

And with that the man let Hayley help him.
