Continuation of Milo's POV:
I somehow managed to finish all the books before he was done and rolled off the couch, feeling hungry again as I got to my feet and bit my bottom lip, slowly inching towards the door curiously as I looked around the room. I'd come back to check on him....
"Where are you going?" I heard him ask me from the desk. I froze up and then looked back at him before I blushed. Caught.
"N-nowhere," I told him, giving him a nervous, innocent smile.
"Don't lie," he told me firmly. His eyes were like daggers on me. "I'm your maker." I tensed up and then nodded quickly.
"Y-yes sir," I whispered, my body trembling slightly as I felt like he was going to get me. His eyes softened as he watched me.
"Well... where were you going?" He asked and motioned for me to sit back down. I hesitantly walked back to the couch and sat back down.
"To explore," I mumbled, watching him.
"Remember Silas?" He asked me. "I don't want you alone with Silas under the same roof as us." He told me casually. "You can go pick out another book to read to keep yourself occupied. Remember that if you ever need anything you need to talk to me about it. Be honest with me. You're my fledgling and I need to know everything that is going on with you. I'm here to help you- teach you." I blushed and nodded. He did tell me to tell him when I get hungry... I guess I should say something then.
"W-well... I'm also a little hungry," I whispered to him, admitting it.
"Thank you for telling me that," he purred and uncovered a phone on his desk and picked it up. He dialed a number. "Send a bottle of blood to my study. Make that two." He hung up and sat the phone down. "There, we'll have your hunger tamed soon." I smiled and relaxed a little before I nodded.
"Mkay," I purred softly then got to my feet, bouncing over to a bookshelf. He picked up an envelope off his desk and used a letter opener to rip it open. He pulled out a thin piece of paper from inside and tilted the envelop over, letting gold pieces fall out onto the desk. He opened the slip of paper, letting his eyes scan over it. I glanced at him and then smiled softly as I watched him closely. I'm glad that he is my maker if anyone had to be my maker.... I grabbed a book off the shelf and then walked over to his desk, sitting by a chair in it. He picked up the pieces of gold and opened a drawer in his desk and dropped them inside. He sat the envelop aside with the letter and went for another envelop. I watched him out of the corner of my eyes and smiled a little before I opened my book to read it, swinging my feet back and forth happily. The door opened to the study and a maid walked in with two bottles of red liquid on a tray.
"Right over here," Lyle told her. "One for me and the other goes to my fledgling."
"Yes sir," she said calmly. I looked up in excitement before I shut the book, setting it aside as I waited, not wanting to seem to eager and get scolded. Would I get scolded? I glanced at Lyle, trying to calm down like him. The maid walked up to Lyle first and sat the tray down on his desk, picking up a bottle and opening it for him. She handed it to him before taking the tray to me and sat it down on the table. She opened the remaining bottle and gave it to me. She took the tray and left us immediately after. I looked towards the bottle and then took a sip of it, a slight moan escaping my lips as I started to feel better and my body relaxed, practically melting into the seat as I started to drink it happily. Lyle sucked down the blood in his bottle, sitting it down when he finished and went back to his paper work. I looked towards him and smiled, finishing mine before I sat it down and then got to my feet, walking over to him and then behind him before I hugged him.
"Thank you mas- Lyle," I quickly corrected myself, blushing as I realized I almost called him master out loud. He looked over his shoulder at me and purred.
"I'm pleased you shared with me you were hungry," he reached up and patted my arm. I smiled at him before I nodded then let go, looking him over before I gently started to massage his shoulders, knowing I loved it when my sister used to do it for me when she stayed with me.
"Uh huh," I whispered softly. He let out a small moan and leaned back against the chair. I laughed a little. He must not get many massages.... I purred and started to massage him a little harder, working into the tight spots on him, working out knots in his muscles. He reached out for a new envelope and opened it, pulling out a slip of paper and unfolded it. I smiled and focused on his massage while he read it, taking great care with him as I wanted to make him as relaxed as possible and make this enjoyable. After all, it's got to be rough for him to constantly read lots of letters and stuff about king business all by himself. I'm his first fledgling. I want to make sure I'm there for him like he wants to be for me. I purred and leaned a little into the massage, getting out another knot and hitting a pressure point on his back. He let out another soft moan before picking up his phone and I caught him dialing Everest's number before he pressed his phone to his ear.
"Everest, tomorrow night we'll be having guests for dinner." Lyle told him.
"Oh, okay. I'll tell the maids to set out extra places," I heard Everest purr into the phone. "Is that everything you needed Lyle?"
"They're going to have to stay the day as well. So prepare bedrooms. I also want you to get a journal and pens for my fledgling. If it's not too much of a bother."
"Of course~! I would love to get Milo a journal and some pens! I said anything, didn't I?" Everest laughed. "I'll even take him out for a day if you want some time to yourself anytime soon~ Show him the city as a vampire~"
"Pens and a journal will do. Just make sure things will be ready for our guests." Lyle told him calmly.
"Alright," Everest told him and hung up then. I smiled and then started to lean more into his back, putting my weight into the massage for him as I started on his upper lower back now. He sat his phone down and relaxed against my touch.
"Does this feel good?" I asked him sweetly, purring into his ear as I leaned in towards it.
"Yeah, that feels good." He reached up and grabbed my hand, rubbing it. I blushed a little then nodded.
"Mkay... I'll do this for you then when you work," I mumbled to him and then turned my attention back to my work, going to tug my hand away from his to continue. He let my hand go and went back to focusing on the papers. After awhile of this, I moved my hands back to his shoulders and started to massage near his neck and towards his front slightly, trying to get his shoulders good to get all the stress out of him, slipping my hands a little towards his chest. He grabbed my hands and looked towards me.
"That's enough. Go sit down." He looked me over then. I frowned slightly, not seeing the problem but I nodded.
"Okay," I whispered then smiled at him, pulling away before I bounced over to my seat and sat down on it then laid out on the couch. I wonder why he all of a sudden told me to stop? Maybe it doesn't feel good after a long time... or maybe he was wanting to read something sensitive.... Oh well. I sighed softly as I looked up at the ceiling, wondering exactly how high up it was. He pulled out a pen and paper from in his desk and started to write. I glanced his way and then smiled. So that's what it was.... He was wanting to write a letter. That makes sense. I'd want that to be private too. I rolled over onto my stomach and then looked around the room before I laid my head down and closed my eyes, deciding to get a nap in before he was done. He'd wake me up.... I heard the pen running against the paper as he wrote quickly. Must be important.... I smiled softly as I listened to it, the familiar sound lulling me to sleep.
Lyle's POV:
I felt the sun starting to rise over the horizon, making me more aware of the time. I finished up my last letter to be sent out then sorted everything for the maids to take care of during the day. They'd know by how I piled the papers. I looked up towards Milo and gave a pleasing purr to him. He fell asleep. That's very common for fledglings to do. Often unable to stay up full nights. It's part of the changing. I moved to my feet after finishing my piles and walked over to him. I reached down and scooped him up into my arms, starting for the door. It opened as a maid came in.
"I was just about to inform you of the time," she said quickly and held the door open for me. "Good day, King Lyle."
"Good day," I purred and started down the hall with Milo in my arms. As I walked down the hall, maids and butlers were closing curtains to prevent the light from getting in. Milo stirred slightly in my arms before he leaned his face into my chest, hiding his face from the lights of the hallways as he wrapped his arms around my neck instinctively, innocent looking as his body sighed softly and he breathed my scent in.
"King Lyle, we're getting the curtains closed as quickly as we can." A butler said as I passed him. "Stay out of the light- you're going to hurt your flesh."
"Don't worry, the sun isn't up yet and I'm on my way to my room." I told him.
"Lyle?! Is that you?" I heard Everest from behind me. I heard his footsteps racing after me. "What are you still doing up? You know better than that... if you got hurt, Silas would take advantage of it.... The sun could come up at any minute!"
"Why are you not in the bed?" I shot back. "I'm heading there now. You should be on your way as well." I looked towards him with a smile. He smiled at me.
"Fair enough," he said and then produced a black leather journal with a golden M sewn into it. "I got Milo his own journal and some pens," he told me and then slipped them into my pockets before he smirked and stole Milo from me. "Let me," he purred at me then watched as Milo instinctively curled up in his arms. "Aww, I see why you turned him. He's cute. He'll make a real good first fledgling for you. It's always better when they're adorable and innocent like that."
"Still young and tired from transforming," I heard Sylar say from behind us. "You two are up past dawn. Rebels."
"I had to put our sister to bed and get the notebook for Milo," Everest defended, giving a smirk. "You know she doesn't go to sleep very well unless she feeds and is tucked in."
"So I heard we're having guests tomorrow.... Who's coming?" Sylar wondered.
"I'll tell you tonight," I said softly. I looked towards Milo to check on him. He didn't seem to be taking to Everest like he did me, not even wrapping his arms around Everest's neck instinctively to avoid falling.
"You two need to get to bed," I warned them. "As your king, I order it. Hand over my fledgling and get going." Everest laughed slightly.
"No way! Let me walk you to your room as your brother, not your subject," he told me and smiled.
"I'd much rather you two head to your own rooms while I get to mine." I sighed out.
"Then send Sylar to bed. I can make it on my own," Everest hummed out then started to walk ahead of me with my fledgling.
"Sylar, go to bed." I told him firmly.
"Only because I'm wanting to." Sylar grumbled and walked away from us. I looked towards Everest.
"Are you sure?" I asked him. He looked at me and smiled.
"Yeah, what are brothers for? I'll carry him. You work too hard," he told me and then held Milo close. "Besides, I miss having a fledgling around me. All mine are grown and already left me."
"Well you should get a new one," I suggested and lead him towards my bedroom. "Go out sometime soon. I won't mind."
"It takes a while to find one like Milo though," Everest mumbled. He sighed as we reached my bedroom then looked up at me with a smile. "Take real good care of him, alright? Don't betray his attachment to you. If you lose it, it'll be gone forever."
"Everest, he's my first fledgling. He'll probably be my only one. I'm never going to let this one go so quickly." I stole Milo back and went into my room, shutting the door behind me. I walked over to the bed and laid Milo down in it then crawled in with him. He curled up into the bed and nuzzled his face against the sheets, a small smile playing on his lips before he leaned his head against my chest.
"Master," he mumbled in his sleep happily, curling up to my side. He called me master... In his sleep... I ran my fingers through his hair and closed my eyes, falling asleep with my sweet fledgling.
Continuation of Lyle's POV: I felt him stirring against me as the sun was going down, waking up a little early as he sat up in the bed beside me. He yawned a little and then started to crawl off the bed, taking it slow like he was trying not to wake me. I opened my eyes and glanced his way. "Where are you going?" I asked him curiously. He froze up and then sat down, looking towards me then purred, crawling back and laying down beside me. "I was going to take another bath," he told me sweetly, looking up into my eyes from my side innocently. "You can do that," I purred and looked him over. "Are you hungry yet?" He looked thoughtful then nodded towards me, blushing slightly. "A little," he admitted to me. "I'll have a maid bring us some blood, go pick out some clothes from my closet and take a shower. We'll see about your clothes later tonight." I sat up against the headboard and picked up the phone on the nightstand. He nodded
Continuation of Lyle's POV: It didn't take me long to find Everest, directing some maids in the dining room. He looked at me and raised an eyebrow before he sighed. "Lemme guess, the gardens?" He asked me and then put his hands on his hips. "I was planning on having a small private ball out there, but okay, I can get the musicians to move their equipment to the actual ballroom." "Whichever works for you," I told him and smirked. "Milo wants to go out into the gardens though." Everest glanced me over and then looked at Milo in consideration. "Well... if we had them dance in the gardens, they might accidentally injure themselves and ruin it.... I'll send out the new orders. We can get this done," he told me, his eyes flickering back to me. "We should probably start it off outside rather than end it outside. It's safer inside the house, and if the dancing was to last longer than expected, the sun might catch us or cause a panic. It'll be safer and more controlle
Continuation of Lyle's POV:Esther looked over as we entered the room then smiled huge. "Brother! You made it just in time! Everest just went to go fetch Silas, isn't that right Sylar?" She asked, looking over at Sylar sweetly. He nodded his head in agreement."Is that the same human from two nights ago?" I heard Primrose asking her siblings as they all sat on the same couch, waiting for me. She looked Milo over and frowned, looking towards Jason. "That's his first fledgling?" She asked. Milo blushed slightly and hid a little more against my side."I hope he was turned willingly," Jason said coldly as his eyes judged me with harsh daggers. His arms wrapped around his two sisters, Primrose and Emily."You're correct, this is the same human except he is my fledgling now Primrose. I wouldn't dare take his life from him if it was by force, Jason. Let me introduce you.... This is my fledgling Milo Tomas Young. Less formally, Milo. Milo, these are council membe
Continuation of Lyle's POV: I eventually found Esther wandering the hallways, humming softly. She stopped when she saw me then smiled. "Oh hey there," she said sweetly and walked up. "Had enough of them already? How's your cheek?" She looked towards it in worry, gently touching it. "Let me heal it for you, my sweet big brother," she mumbled, her touch numbing the slight pain in my cheek and jaw and I felt her healing powers working on me to fix what Jason did to me. "I wish the dinner went better than it was planned. Where's Milo?" I asked her curiously. "Everyone is meeting in the ball room in a hour." She smiled and rubbed my cheek as she finished. "Well, he used the restroom, but he didn't want to go back to the table, so I decided I'd let him eat in the safety of the night room. He almost didn't accept the blood I got for him," she told me. "He's eating though, so I think that's good enough." "I should made him stay in my study all night i
Continuation of Lyle's POV: Everest was already in the ball room, giving Emily a dance as he seemed to be carrying on a pleasant conversation with her as the musicians played. Primrose was dancing with Silas, but they both didn't seem to be happy with it. Esther looked towards me and walked up with a sweet smile. "Is he asleep or something?" She asked me softly, taking my hand as she started to pull me towards the dance floor, not taking no for an answer as she didn't even ask. I started to lead her into a dance. "He passed out. You know little fledglings can't stay up full nights." I told her with a small laugh. She laughed and nodded. "That's true. I'll just have to get my dances from him when he's older," she purred to me and followed me in the dance. "You know... you should get his first official dance as his maker. It'd be cute." "Well I could have had his first lesson but someone stole that from me," I sighe
Continuation of Lyle's POV:I woke up this time before Milo, feeling him laying on top of me. He must've moved sometime during the day to be on my chest.... I smirked and moved him off of me, making sure not to wake him then got to my feet and headed to my bathroom. I took a bath this morning, deciding I could afford the private time away from my fledgling. The water felt nice, which was something I avoided to make sure I kept my eyes on Milo as much as possible. When I finished with my shower I changed into some more casual clothes since it would just me a calm night. I walked back out to Milo to check on him. He had curled up to my pillow, snuggling up to it rather cutely. It looked like he was still sleeping, but it wasn't deep sleeping. I walked over to the nightstand and grabbed the phone off of it, texting one of the maids to deliver two bottles of blood to my room
Continuation of Lyle's POV: About halfway through the movie three butlers came in with our food, sitting it out on the coffee table for us with our drinks and two extra bottles of blood. "I hope you don't mind but I thought you also might want some blood afterwards," the butler explained. "Enjoy your meal." They bowed before leaving us in peace. "That was thoughtful of him," I purred and grabbed my bowl of spaghetti and started to eat, moaning at the combination of garlic they threw in for us. Most vampires actually liked garlic. That was just a myth we created when humans were killing monsters back in the day. It was our only way to hide and survive. Creating myths so that humans would be less suspicious of us. Too bad the sun was a huge problem for vampires. He smiled and picked up his bowl, starting to eat it happily as he scooped
Continuation of Lyle's POV: After a few minutes, I found Silas walking down the hall with a book in his hands, headed in the direction of his room from the library. He sighed as he turned the page, skimming it. "Who cares about ants that much?" He growled softly. "Just because they fought each other on your piles of wood and you sat and watched them fight doesn't mean you need to write about it." I walked up to him and slammed the cake straight into his face, licking a bit off my finger as it got on me. "Sorry, I was dared." He gasped and dropped the book in his hands, looking at the cake all over him then at me before he exposed his fangs. "Lyle!" He hissed and went for me. "I'm going to get you! You bastard!" I laughed and stepped back from him.

~Time Skip~Continuation of Everest's POV:Dr. Forest took me back out to the bedroom, keeping her face blank. She hadn't said a word since she started to test me, not letting on the results at all as she looked at everything carefully, studying it then restudying it. I bit my bottom lip as I felt my stomach knotting up in worry, hoping she wasn't harboring bad news for us. She's never been this silent! Neal was standing by the window, drooling over the wolves that were howling outside. He looked at me and gave a smile. "Hey, what's the news?" He asked and shut the window so he'd be fully aware of what was going on in the room instead of the woods. I frowned a little. He better not be looking at those shewolf tails! I hissed at him then, getting suspicious. "What? They're hunting witho
End of JuneEverest's POV: I sighed softly as I brushed my long hair out, tired of constantly having tangles in it. Honestly, being a girl is hard work, and damn it, periods suck. I glanced towards the bathroom door I had shut, having just got out of the shower after waking up before Neal. My whole body was sore.... One month and I feel like I haven't been leaving my room with Neal for years.... I blushed and pulled the towel that was wrapped around my chest closer then bit my bottom lip. So far... I haven't had any success. Dr. Willow Forest has been checking in on me lately too, trying to help me out by giving me better painkillers and supplying me with all these supposedly good pregnancy tests. She makes me check twice every time I do it, making me do it once a week at least. She said something about it might come out too weak to pick up the first
Continuation of Sylar's POV: I heard small footsteps coming towards my bedroom hesitantly after a few hours and then a soft knock at my door. I sat up quickly. "Come in," I begged. Colsin walked and bit his bottom lip as he shut the door behind him. I gave him a pleased smile. "It's about time! I thought you were going to get something to eat, not stay away from me for a couple of hours." He frowned a little then walked over to the couch, sitting down. "Well I went hunting," he told me and then played with the new shirt he was wearing. "I had to help mom clean my kill too." "Well I decided you can be on my bed if you want to." I told him. "It would be unfair of me not to let you." He looked towards me in slight confusion but nodded before he got up and walked over hesitantly before
Silas's POV: I heard the door to the bedroom next to mine shut. I frowned and sat up. Charles? I got to my feet and walked to his room quickly, going in. "Charles!" I hissed and walked up to his bed where he had collapsed. "What the hell were you thinking going drinking out?!" "Well," he hiccupped. "It all started when Dmitri suggested buying me a drink." He flipped over and looked at me in a daze. I growled then. Great, I've got an alcoholic fledgling. "No more drinking till you're 21," I told him. "What?" He asked. "You can't stop me from drinking! You're not my mom or dad." "I'm your maker," I told him and growled. "You'll listen to me. I don't want you drink
Sylar's POV: The growl got a little louder and I felt the thing crawling up the bed till it was laying between us then heard a small whine and felt something lick my face. I opened my eyes slowly and looked at the wolf before relaxing, recognizing it. "Hey, whatcha doing Colsin?" I asked and rubbed his head. "Silas is going to be upset with you." "Colsin?" I heard Silas ask sleepily. "Oh... he's fine," he mumbled then moved away from us, passing back out. Colsin looked towards him and laid his ears back suspiciously before he looked at me and gave a possessive growl and moved closer to me. I widened my eyes and moved away from him, not liking that growl at all. He perked his ears up and then wagged his tail as he watched me. I crawled out of the bed and started for the bathroom. He followed me quickly, his nails
Silas's POV: Lyle walked up to me and sat down in front of my desk, looking at the stack of work I was going through. "Alright, here's what is going to happen." Lyle purred. "You've got to take care of the whole incident on what happened at the ball with Pierre's maker. The council will be here later tonight. Milo and I are heading out and going to see Aurelio. So if you need any help you'll have to give me a call." Lyle crossed his legs, still sitting with a strong position in the chair like he owned the room instead of me. I looked at him and frowned slightly. Did he just come in here and order me? I sighed and sat back in my seat, letting it go. "Fine, whatever," I told him. "Go have fun.... I'll get the pictures from Everest later." "Don't snap an attitude with
Continuation of Toma's POV:Dmitri started to stir as the sun went down, groaning before he sat up and rubbed at his eyes. He looked towards me where I had been napping then smiled. "Hey," he whispered then got to his feet, walking to the closet. He shut the door behind him and I heard him moving around in there. I watched him. Good, he's getting dressed for me in something new. He came out wearing those rags again, a white t-shirt with black pants and a black hoodie. He slipped some shoes on then went into the bathroom before he came out, his hair brushed neatly. He walked up to the device then picked it up, messaging someone. "Alright... he should be coming here soon...." He slipped it into his back pocket then picked up a leather wallet and put it in another pocket. I tackled him quickly, climbing up his body and looked at the pocket of his hoodie before slipping into
