2025-03-16 03:27:26Rain falls in heavy footsteps outside the windows, while thunder clashes across the ashen sky. The moon is obscured by angry clouds yet, despite the gloom the night couldn't have looked more beautiful. The candle light flickers for a moment as a harsh wind wanders through the open window before it trashed against its lock. The lights go out, yet I've felt no need to move.
Someone moved in the shadows, footsteps soft yet patient until it comes to a pause at the entrance of the room. A wave of my hand floods the room with light once again, candles burning bright pushing away at the darkness. The boy stands, well not a bog any more. It's been almost a milliena since he had existed in this world.
I tend to forget, or rather things seemed all the same after awhile. A creature that lives beyond the confines of time.
