The blaring music and screams of the huge crowds on the floor beneath her made it hard for Rosa to go to sleep. Even with how hard she smash the pillow over her ear as she lay on her sides, Rosa can still hear them and she groaned loudly. She sits up and throws the pillow to the end of the bed. She pants angrily at how disrespectful the vampires were and no doubt with leaders like Vadim, they are all as obnoxious as him.
Nevertheless, it wasn’t the crowd that made her awake. It was the revelation she had witnessed with her own eyes.
She sighed, closing her eyes and cupping her head.
The whole accusation was true. Armand has indeed killed his parents. Both his and Vadim’s parent. He killed them with his own hand but she st
Despite being surrounded by his fellow vampires who share the same mutual feeling of wanting his brother dead, Vadim’s mind was rather distracted by a woman so lovely, it almost took his breath away. It hurts him too knowing no matter what he does, this very woman will not reciprocate his feeling since she was very much in love with his brother. In his thick bear coat and ripped jeans, his defined chest glistened under the neon light while the darkroom was filled with vampires either high on whatever substances they have taken from their human dealers or busy sucking the blood of victims they had fished before the party. From the sound of ecstasy from the party, it almost look like a party Vadim had gone to while on his trip in Amsterdam. He may not be many fans of the weak creature but human sure knows how to come up with one. Vadim sat on his throne with a glass of scotch in his hand. He stares at the dimmed room with purple lights and remind
The event with Eli was happening once again. The nightmare she had tried so hard to forget was happening all over again and this time, Armand is not there to save her. No matter how much she screams or kicks and punches Vadim away, he will not budge nor was she able to do that. He was too strong and it ended up making her body hurt because fighting him was like fighting a brick wall. “Stop this please, Vadim! Please! Don’t do this!” She begged him. Her breathing intensifies that she was starting to suffocate. He held both of her hands on either side of her head. Her continuing trashing on the bed made some pillows fall on the floor. Lightning outside her window masks her scream and the smell of booze lingering from Vadim made her dizzy. He wouldn’t stop kissing her neck, licking the veins on her neck and she feels nauseous from his tongue dragging along her neck down to her upper breast. Seeing her nightgown was covering her breast, Vadim lets h
Hearing birds chirping outside her window with rays of sunlight almost blinding her eyes made Rosa awake. She looks up, blinking a couple of times to make sure her vision was clear. She felt heaviness when she tries to open her eyes wider and her hands were achy. She got up, sagging her shoulder as she leans back on the bedpost. Her eyes were looking around the room which looks pristine with nothing out of place. Something made her turn her gaze to her bedroom door and it was also in a good condition. She frowns. She didn’t know why she has so many questions about the place she was in. So far, she knows that she was kidnapped and brought to Vadim’s mansion. Finally, it hits her. The wrist she was gently caressing since she had woken up was covered with bruised. Dark almost purple mark circled her wrist. It didn’t hurt anymore but she still remember the sensation of being held roughly and forcefully. Tears prick her eyes and she became extremely upset.
Vadim waited at the foyer of the mansion. He stood right below the grand staircase with his phone in his ear. Wearing a green turtleneck with a black coat, his looks oozes with European royalty persona, and with his personal guards standing near him made him look intimidating. Not that he couldn’t take care of himself and requires men to protect him but looks are everything. In the mountain, he rules every creature living there. Making sure his power was to spread all over Carpathia and feared by all including the human towns just below the mountains was important to establish respect, fame, and power. Despite the location, the town at Carpathia was pretty huge and he can pretty much get everything he needs in case of an emergency. Luxury store, fancy restaurants, variety of shops his precious Rosa can visit if he were to leave the state for work matters. He’ll make sure she would want for nothing and being his bride, he was determined to spoil her with all his riche
Coming back to the castle makes her chest feels heavy. The revelation of what Vadim has sprung up on just ruins the rest of her day. Walking to her room, she felt anger and frustration that something like this would be hidden from her. Funny how those emotions were reserved solely for Armand. At least Vadim was honest with her and keep things real with her even though he acts like a jerk 24/7. When she reached her room, she walked faster and was about to slam the door until strong arms wrapped themselves around her waist. Rosa gasped loudly and felt all her breath leave her lungs when her body slammed on a hard surface. She looks up and her cheeks reddened as her lips were only an inch away from Vadim. He was super tall and it kinda stings her neck to stretch her head that high. Nevertheless, an up-close view of this man was so breath-taking that she has no complaint whatsoever. She unconsciously rested her hand on his chest and his rapid beating heart made her someh
Ayara stares at Rosa for a long minute. After she had enough of watching the human cry, Ayara finally sighed and spoke to her. “Would you mind sitting next to me for a while, Rosa? I promise that I won’t be long.” Rosa was of course reluctant to do that since she wasn’t too trusting of the woman at that moment but later, she caved in and nodded. She walks towards Ayara and sat beside her. “Did you know that none of the brothers wanted to face each other until you came?” Rosa frowned. “Are you trying to say that they met because of me and I’m the reason for Armand to die? Geez, thanks for rubbing that to my face.” Ayara chuckled. “You said it, not me. Let me finish dear. Their inability to face each other all steams down to disappointment and anger at what had happened to the former queen, Rosa. Despite all that, I believe none of them hate each other as much as they want us to believe they do. Brothers fight. It is common and they would have not spoke
Holding Rosa to his chest was a dream come true. He had imagined this moment time and time again and to feel it for real was such a wholesome feeling he will never forget. It was hard for him to sneak into his mother’s mansion with his current health situation and it took him threatening to leave the castle in secret that push Matei and his best guards to assist him. First thing first was to create a distraction that would enable everyone to move to a place far away from where Rosa was placed. Having the map of the mansion clearly carved in his brain, Armand has quite a good memory of where his brother might put his mate. The same room his mother had grown up in and seeing the room was constantly cleaned without anything being changed or moved, Rosa would find that room to be comforting and hopefully, stay there for a long time. Not if Armand has anything to say about it. Right now, all he can focus on is his precious Rosa. The poor woman wouldn’t stop sobbing on his chest. Thank Go
“That bastard put me to sleep these past weeks and the moment I woke up, I wanted to rip his heart from his chest for taking you away from me. Even when I first woke up, I tried to save you, and here I am, busting down the homes of my enemy to save you but what did you say to me? You want to stay? You want to be with him? All this time, have you ever cared for me? Or even love me, little one?” Angry tears roll down his cheek. All the pent-up rage of being hurt by his brother put into a coma and losing the woman he love finally hit his breaking point. "Of course, I do. You..you know I do. I have to stay... to stop your an..nger. Please.. listen to..me.." His ears were filled with so many sounds, even the choking sound of Rosa gasping for air and trying to speak. So many distractions, he had his focus set on one thing. Only when he noticed the blood on Rosa's neck from his claw cutting her skin, did he wake up and let her go. Rosa backs away, bending forward to clutch her aching nec
Rosa folds the letters and set them aside. Letting all the things she had read, rest and engraved in her thoughts and heart. Tears wet her cheek so she quickly uses her napkin to tap on her cheek. Made sure her makeup was not messed up too much. She had spent one whole week reading Marco Demyan's POV.A letter to his children before he died but not directly addressed to them. more like his story for the twins to understand his side better. He wrote all the important details of his life, his first-person point of view, and tells the story from his sad childhood to the day he decides to have his revenge. She had gotten the letter from the reading room where both Vadim and Armand has spend their day sorting out all the coven official matters once their ancestry was revealed to the council. Though anger and detest quickly swarm from the elders, the crime of Bethran, Jakub, and King Alexander was also revealed and they all know which situation would be more deserving of their wrath. Th
I stayed in the Makkari castle for months, even being made into King Aleksander's advisor but, I doubt my opinion matters to him nor did I give him any. I notice he just wants me to be around him and when I see how affectionate he tries to be with Marie, I would bite my lip so hard until it bleeds and ache to bury my fist into the pathetic king's face. Marie would look at me when others weren't looking and smile. Even she knows how our situation is affecting all of us badly. Hyatt and Isaac were still kept to my side but even I can see the treatment of the guards here towards them was mean and not as accepting as I thought they would be. Then I learn that these guards and soldier whom Hyatt would train within the Makkari castle is none other than one of the most powerful general in vampire history. Jakub Maelstrom. A Dutch who was raised by the Makkari former kings. Strong, powerful, and a good friend of every king of Makkari. Including Aleksander and from the way he looked at us,
" You three are the only survivor of the massacre and I am truly sorry for what you all have been through. Unfortunately, I could not give you your home or livelihood back. You are welcome to stay here. This will be your new home." I stood at the end of the stairs. Forced to kneel despite being a king - former king with my two fight mates on my sides. No longer were they my servants. They were my fight mates because just like me, they are all orphans now and we have indeed survived the hell that had attacked us two nights ago. In the cellar covered by rubbles, I forced my fight mates to hide with me, trying to bring some wounded vampires we could find but trying to save them only lead us to disappointment. They all died in the cellar we all have hidden in. Isaac, Hyatt, and I were forced to hide with those bodies for 3 days and without the sun, the bodies turn grey and start creating a foul odor. Once we felt like it was safe to leave our hideaway, we carry those bodies to the g
A/N: Unedited. Will do soon. Just trying to catch up with the due date. tq...My Marie is now officially married. And not to me. My beautiful mate whom I loved from the age of 9 and from the very first time I met, is now married to King Aleksander of Makkari Coven. Her head was bent down while the groom raised his head eye, ecstatic and waving to everyone in the village. They all spoke of Marie being the blushing bride. Unable to face anyone because she was too shy and being as young as 18 years, they claimed the young queen was lucky and blessed to have the king as her husband. Only I knew it was all false. I knew my Marie wasn't happy. Just like me, she was broken inside to be making bonds with another man who is not even her mate. Father know this and yet, he pushed the wedding to be done as soon as possible. He thought he was doing the best thing he can as a king hut he was far too delusional to accept that his decision was a mistake that would soon cost all of us. My mot
Unedited. will do it soon....Our love story was risky and so many times would our time together be caught by people in the castle. Hence, we found a way to spend time together and do whatever we want, kiss whenever we want and proclaim our love for one another without the judgement of others. The waterfall was our secret oasis. It's the only place we could be lovers and within a month after our birth day, my beloved Marie allows me to hold her. Touch her and love her like any lovers do. Our first time was definitely not our best time. It pains me to see her bleed and hurt when I first make love to her but along the way, we learn about each other bodies. What ways we can pleasure each other and find comfort in a way only a mate couple can. I tattooed every detail of her body in my heart. Her moles right above her breast, her birthmark on her left inner thighs, her luscious curves, soft cries, blushing skin and the way her eyes would stare at me all glassy and dilated made my bl
I stood at the wide balcony. More vampires behind me as Marie and I stood around the pillar holding a huge stone goblet. Inside was red win poured by the castle mage earlier. The man wearing an elegant fur robe and braided hair stood near the balcony rails. Beneath the castle was the crowds. All villagers gathered to witness as the king only daughter come of age. Including myself of course. I wore a white shirt with white pants while Marie wore a white dress. Simple, plain and we both look at each other nervously and excitedly. The king and my mother stood behind us, witnessing the moment the moon becomes full and its light graze this wine into blood. A sacred blood that will recognize us as an immortal and part of the royal family. Normal vampires don't do this but for royalty? They always wants to make such important event as fancy as possible.Since both of us will come of age at any second soon, I held the edge of the goblet. Staring at the crimson liquid shines brightly an
A/N: Chapter is complete. Don't want to waste time but more chapters is coming out. No worries....8 years passed 'Marco! Marco! Tell me! What are you getting for me for my birth day?" I continue to walk through the hallway and smile as Marie basically jumps around me, tried to squeeze out information from me yet I just walk passed her. No way was I trying to hurt her feelings but she has been going on and on about what she wants from me for her birth day tomorrow. "Did you forgot that I will reach my maturity tomorrow as well?" I replied. She giggled as she twirled around me with her beautiful moss green dress that goes well with her fair skin and dark hair. She was so excited about wanting to know her gift, she forgets that we would both reach our maturity the same day tomorrow night.Fate must've plan for us to meet and know one another when they made us born on the same day, same month and same year. From that knowledge alone, I believe there is a fair God.Though I tower her
10 year old I've been staying at pretty palace for a month now. My mother and I were given a pretty room with comforts of bed and tastiest of blood. No more did we dine on animal blood. We sustain ourselves with human blood and right from their necks. While I saw the people around me and the king drank human blood until the human died, my mother and I drank until it is enough for our hungry tummy. I was surprise to see Princess Marie, King Stephan of House of Raavan cuts a human female hand and let her blood pour into a champagne glass. On the table was also hearty human meals that royals tend to enjoy. It's their ability to walk under the sun and blend in with the humans that made them stronger, sneky and powerful than a red eye like mine. Just like me, my Marie would take a glimpse at me and even sneak a peak at me whenever she thinks I didn't know. Hunting animals made me aware and more careful of the movement around me. Even a gaze to make sure I will always be ready for dange
Not edited yet. Will do soon....With my mate by my side again, I watch as she falls asleep on my arm, soft snoring with her thick lashes hiding her deep blue eyes that reminds me of the ocean.I brush away her curls to stay behind her ears and kiss her forehead. Her smiles made my chest feels full and I cant imagine being anywhere else but here. My Marie. My precious bride. How I long to see you after so long. How I weep at your death and suffer in silence when you are not around? If this is what death feels like, to be able to see you again and love you as you have loved me, I would have stayed in the sun and let the light that shines the prettiest upon you burn me to the ground.Perhaps I had to stay alive for a little while to help our children. Just like me, they have missed you. Lost and broken, so many bad people wants to destroy them. All because they are ours and symbol of our love. How can a love this beautiful is seen as ugly by these vampires? We have shared no blood yet
