Chapter 110: Coaching sessions

He didn't work from home, he worked from the cafe and she steered clear of it. She didn't get affected by strangers misbehaving normally but he was entirely different and she had a feeling he was trouble. Somehow he found his way to the garden where she relocated to.

"What exactly do you want with me?" She asked with a frustrated groan.

He lowered himself unto the grass, placing an extra smoothie on her textbook.

"I said I wanted to be friends. What's so hard to believe in that?" He answered.

She eyed him, thinking of further ways to elude him.

"I am persistent," he told her as if reading her thoughts, "I don't have a lot of work so I'll just keep following you around."

Her lips folded into a thin line. Perhaps if she kept eluding him, it would only make him chase her more; after all, every man loved a female challenge but if she stayed and pretended to appreciate his company... A broken heart would be the perfect thing to keep him away from her.

She fixed him with a displeased look.
