Chapter 8: I Found You At Last

WHEN Zachary’s authoritative green eyes glanced at the audience, they began screaming his name. Nevertheless, he subdued everyone to obedience with just one look. And he knew it. He knew the impact he had on people. The host and the crowd, had become his fans in an instant. They were silenced just like what Zachary wanted. And I was sure that the humans watching at home had been like that, too.

My hands instinctively went to my stomach as a bitter smile formed on my lips. ‘Baby, that’s your Daddy.’

“Many people had been curious about you for such a long time, Mr. Collins. What made you decide to finally reveal yourself to the public?” the host asked when she recovered from fangirling.

Zachary looked straight at the camera and said, “I’m looking for someone.”

The host gasped. I did, too. Fear started to crawl back into my system as I watched how Zachary’s eyes glowed mysteriously. But that person couldn’t be me, right?
