Xylah stood in front of the mirror smiling to herself like a fool. It's been a long time she had actually put on something as nice as this and she loved it.

Grinning like a child who had been given his favorite sweet, she grabbed a small bag which he hug across her shoulder and hurriedly exited the room. They were running late.

Liam had been pacing up and down as he waited to Xylah. He checked the time again for the hundredth time.

Where on earth was she?

"Damn it, Xylah. We're going to be late" He glanced at his wrist watch again.

" I'm done. Let's go" He heard a thin voice called behind him causing him to turn. His eyes widened a little when he saw her coming down the stairs.

For a second there, his breath hitched in his throat. Liam couldn't believe it. Was she always this beautiful or did clothes really change someone?
