Alexander's POV

The disorienting fog slowly lifted from my mind, each beat of my heart pounding like a war drum in my ears. My muscles screamed in protest as I tried to move, but the chains held me fast against the cold, unforgiving wall. The faint scent of blood and damp concrete filled my nostrils. I strained my eyes to focus, and the distorted shapes before me gradually sharpened into sickening clarity.

Olivia and Cassandra were tied up and bruised, their faces a mask of determination despite their predicament. Adam stood between us, his smile twisted with malicious glee. The bastard had clearly set the stage for some twisted show, and his next lines were already dripping with menace.

"Welcome back, Alexander," Adam sneered, eyes gleaming with unspoken threats.

Despite the thick chains binding me, I couldn't suppress the growl rising from my chest. "Untie them, Adam. Now."
