I was fuming.

Alex had turned me down without a second thought. Turns out losing a part of his hand did more damage to him than any of us could have imagined.

So as the nice person I was I left him alone to sink in misery and be a pathetic person he already was.

A part of me felt for him. Really. I hated how he is dumb but it's not his fault. So past that,I did not want him to be depressed for eternity. That did not mean I loved him.
