Chapter 3

"O my baby, why are you still in bed. We are supposed to leave within an hour" Christine in a hurry asks Zency who is lazily lying on her bed rolling around due to hangover, "also did you get yourself massaged"

           Zency turned towards her mom, "Mom that jerk really worn me out yesterday, he even forced me to drink so much that I don't even remember if he used a condom or not" she with a yucking expression informed, "so I didn't get time to groom myself"

          "No worries baby, I can understand.. Don't be upset after we reach Swynston, I have heard that there is a great spa and massage parlours. So you can get yourself ready before the party because we are going somewhat early" Christine showing unnatural concern and love towards her daughter stated

            "By the way mom, why the plan changed and why are we leaving early as I remember that dad informed me about the party and we were supposed to leave by tomorrow evening? " Zency questions her mom sensing something off

           "Nothing of your concern, just get up and pack your stuff" Christine dismisses her question and leaves the room in a hurry

            "Good morning, uncle Jack" a smiling Ziva enters the kitchen hugging the butler

             "Good morning, young lady" Jack greeted her back

              "Jack, serve us the breakfast we are running out of time" Christine screams from the dining area, hearing that Jack signals the two maids to help him take the food out.

              Ziva peaks out of the kitchen with tight lips and sees her family eating with each other as she hopes that one day they will call her and ask her to sit with them but unfortunately that day never came till now.

             A flood of emotions overshadowed in her mind which appears in the forms of tears, every day this happens when she sees her family together and how her parents love her siblings but not her. She had become invisible to them as they treat her worst than the servants in the house.

            Jack comes back and soothes her, "What is the meaning to be like this, you are unable to bear seeing it then why hurt yourself, my little girl" he moves his hand on her head lovingly which helps her calm down

             "Now I want a smile on this pretty face" Jack pinches her cheeks, "want to know what I prepared for you" he asks her to which she nods like a little baby giving him a smile, "Chicken lasagna with crispy white sauce pasta" smelling which Ziva with a big grin sits on the kitchen island and starts digging in the plate making the maids and Jack chuckle as it always happens when Ziva sees her favourite food.

              Meanwhile, her parents and siblings leave the house which Ziva has seen and noted to ask Jack later on as to where they are going but first, she wished to finish the mouth-watering disc in front of her. After finishing it she looks at Jack who was looking at her with glistening eyes to which she raises her eyebrows, "What's happening?? Where everyone left" she questions

              "Actually, there is some business party at Swynston away from Houston, which takes twelve hours to reach and so everyone left to attend it and will be back in three days" Jack informs her to which Ziva nods taking the information

              "One more thing your mother ask all of us to leave too as she thought that we are not needed for three days and gave everyone paid leave. I tried to stay back but she warned me to do so" he further adds which saddens Ziva, "but you can call me whenever needed and don't worry, I will be here with your meals three times a day and we can have it in the backyard" he cheers her up to which Ziva hugs him again

             "I wish if you were my father but I will pray to god that in next life when I am born then my father should be you" Ziva with tears in her eyes expressed her gratitude

              "You will always be my daughter, doesn't matter if you are not born in my house or my blood is not running in your veins... I am lucky to have you in my life" Jack removing her tears replies, "remember I am one call away, okay"

                 After Jack leaves, Ziva is now all by herself in the house, this was the first time that happened with her in this twenty years of her life, she gets into her room after ensuring all the doors are closed as Jack has already helped her to check but she did it again by herself. She got immersed in her writing with the music buzzing loud in her rooms so as to not think of anything else and her situation. She thought to leave these three days alone and have an experience of life, as Jack said that it will help her to think of moving out and be on her own and maybe help in overcoming her fear too.

              At Raymond's Mansion, Ashton is hell angry and Angelin is trying to calm him down but it's not easy for her. He gets into the dining table where Krish is taking the pills for his hangover and his mom is rebuking him whilst Kreena being an audience feeding Sian trying to divert the little boy attention from his grandma who was angry at his uncle's Indignant behaviour and reprimanding him.

             Ashton comes and throws the newspaper on the table making Krish flinch at his brother's behaviour and his mom stops blabbering seeing a fuming Ashton

             "What the hell is this Krish" Ashton with a rage in his voice spoke

           "Ummm...Angelin where is Ace" Kreena comes up with a rather odd question grabs everyone attention towards her signalling his brother about Sian's presence

           "He is in the room still sleeping maybe" Angelin replies understanding her concern, "I forget to wake him up"

           "Alright... Sian just go and wake up Ace, so that he can join us for breakfast otherwise you know he won't eat alone" Kreena sends Sian away and then folding her hands looks at her brother's, "Now we can proceed"

           Krish looks at the paper with headlines written in bold, "Reynold's son getting drunk and fret out on the innocent" with his picture of beating someone, he stands up with a force that caused the chair to fall down and crushing the paper he throws it away, "Come on bro, those paparazzi just wants the news, they spiced it up and turned the situation against me, which will help them earn some money" he tries to justify himself cursing the person who did so

        "Really, the whole world is against you, my innocent little brother is just a dummy who is found everywhere in any sort of situation" Ashton getting irked spills out his anger

              Krish massaging his head sighs, "You know what you guys will just blame me for every wrong happening in this world, so I don't think of explaining to you any further but just listen for mom sake I will let you know... That fucking bastard almost rape a girl in the bar if  I and Sam wouldn't have reached in time then she would be in the headline all over by now, in my place" he with a finger poked his brother's chest and explains his side

               "If you all feel like I am a curse to the family then why ask me every time to come back here. I have my own place to leave and brother you can announce that I am disowned by the family, that way this bastard's paparazzi won't be behind me, they will be out of my life and I will be from yours" with that he tries to leave the room but his hand was gripped harshly and when he turned around he received a hard punch on his face, making him stumble and falls down.

               "I can make this curse a blessing with my ways and dare you talk to me like this" Ashton getting down at his level holds Krish head in place, "I just want to beat you like shit but will let go of you this time.. Mind well, if you get drunk again and I found you than the headline will be us" he threatened Krish who was helped by Angelin and Kreena to stand up and tears rolled down from his eyes seeing which Ashton hugs him

            "Why you are spoiling your life my boy...hmmm" Ashton now inquires soothing him to which Krish hugs him tightly like a baby in his father's arm asking for protection, which makes the three ladies in the room also cry.

               The whole day passed by in peace for Ziva as Jack came for the lunch and dinner but now it's the time when the whole house is empty and darkness was engulfing her, her real test started now to overcome her fears, being all alone in the night.....
