Are you being punished for it?" Adie scrutinized Stefan, his eyes narrowed. "Why can't you be with Mommy? Isn't it more painful to be away from the person you love?" Although he was just a child, he knew that being together with your loved ones meant happiness. For example, he loved to spend time with his parents, Abby, and Tiffany, and would miss them when he didn't see them. It didn't make sense to him that Stefan wanted to suffer such misery when he could just live happily with Renee.

"Yeah, I made a mistake, so I have no right to be with her." Stefan smiled regretfully as he looked at Adie. "If I only bring her harm, would you still want me to stay with her?"
