"Umm…" Renee didn't know how to react as Quinton was rarely this emotional. She said carefully, "Quinton, you're too anxious—I'm not as weak as you think. Plus, as Adie's mother, I understand him better, so it'd be more effective if I went to rescue him." She didn't agree with Quinton's idea of sending Chase and others to the island. She knew he would be safe given his intelligence, and there had to be a reason why he was doing this. If they went to the island, they wouldn't have been able to bring him back. Renee didn't want to trouble Quinton and Chase with this.

"What kind of thinking is that?" Quinton frowned and said, "You lost so much blood for that lousy man and went into a coma, and your wounds haven't even healed, but you're telling me you're not weak? Are you trying to drive me insane?" He tapped Renee's head and said in frustration, "Why do you love to make me worry about you? Did I spoil you too much? I think I should get someone to watch you twenty-four hours a day."
