LAURA

“Something came up?” I asked before I could stop myself.

Eric sneered and responded.“Can you just stop asking questions? Don't add to it, will you? I just said we need to leave and that's final!” He half yelled and walked away.

Must he always be in a bad mood?

I trudged back to the mansion, preparing to leave like he ordered. Eric sent for Flynn to come pick us up. We both sat in the living room, prepared to leave but none of us said a single word. Eric just fixated his gaze on his iPad as usual, while I just sat and nibble on my lips, praying silently for time to go by fast.

Car honks suddenly sounded from outside, and Eric stood up almost immediately, heading for the door.

Flynn was here!

“Let's go,” He muttered coldly and finally left. I got to the door and turned back to glance at the house. Sasha wasn't around.
