LAURA

It was finally, finally the D-Day of the wedding. I wouldn't say my wedding because I was against it. Minutes ago, Eric had called to ask if I was ready. They were waiting for me at the cathedral.

I stood in front of the huge mirror, staring at my reflection. I wouldn't deny the fact that this dress looked so expensive to its taste, but the tears that fell from the corners of my eyes threatened to ruin my makeup.

Seriously, who does wedding this way?

A wedding where none of your relatives or your guardians knows nothing about. My mind reeled with different thoughts about Mum and my brother, Eric tried to blackmail me using my brother's face on another guy on Harvard College and now I was sure he's doing alright since I'm giving in into his demand.
