EMILY’S POVDominic's words made me stop. I looked at him and he looked just as shocked as I was by his words. I could not have ever expected those words to leave Dominic's mouth. Love was not something men like Dominic gave freely. They dominated, they controlled—but they did not love. “You think you love me?” It was more of a question to myself than it was to him. DOMINIC'S POV As though he could listen to my thoughts, my phone began to vibrate again. I didn't even have to look at the phone to know that it was Dino who was calling me. EMILY’S POV I rushed back to the room after eavesdropping on the conversation between Dominic and Anita. My heart was racing in my chest and I had to fight hard to catch my breath.
