Meeting At Dusk

After walking a few hundred meters with the messenger group, the rogue wolves went back to the hill. After reaching there, they went into the hill, disappearing without any hiccups.

Just then, River turned her gaze to Old man Thomas and his group. She stretched out her hands, muttering to Gonzalo and Calantha. "You two, brace yourselves."

Her mate held her hand instantly but Calantha stared at it cautiously, glancing repeatedly between her face and her hand. Eventually, she gave in, holding onto her hand too.

River nodded and closed her eyes, concentrating as she tried mumbling a spell. The air around them became heavy with magic... Magic that took effect when she opened her eyes again. She imagined herself, Calantha, and Gonzalo in front of old man Thomas and his group, and that ended up happening almost instantly.

The scenery around them twisted and changed, before revealing them directly in front of the old man and the others. They were startled, drawing out weapons and pointing
