The last two puppets fell to the floor and were knocked out, followed by two sounds. The other puppets had no idea what had happened. They were in the secret tunnel in the blink of an eye.

Heather exclaimed, "Ambrose! What are you doing?"

Ambrose took a deep breath and said, "I want to disguise myself as them and follow them."

Initially, he wanted to knock out all the puppets. As he knocked out two of them, he knew his plan would not work. Those puppets were too strong. He could knock out two of them because it was too sudden. Thus, he changed his mind and decided to disguise himself as one of the puppets. That way, he could figure out who was controlling them.
