Chapter 26

Third Person's POV

Coal paused in front of the door and looked down at his little mate. Not only could he see how nervous he was, but he swore he could feel it. The Alpha turned and tilted the Omega's head, forcing him to look at him. Coal slipped his hands between his long sandy blonde hair, which draped around his face, and placed them on his cheeks.

“Relax, darling. My family is going to adore you! My pops might be a little overwhelming, but that's just because he will love you,” Coal said softly.

Nathan's heart began racing in his chest when the Alpha leaned his face down toward him. His eyes closed, and a moment later, he felt lips pressing against his forehead. A small part of him was disappointed those lips weren't touching his own.

“Come on, meet my family,” Coal said as he pushed the door open.

As soon as the door opened, the sound of chaos filled their ears. Coal could hear Theo scolding Xavier and Vivian whining as the twins piled on top of her.
