CHAPTER THREE

Shannon’s POV

I knew that he was certainly the one the first time that he came to our home but I wasn't the one that he came looking for, it was Sharon but I wasn't going to allow the prophecy to come through, I was going to take him forcefully no matter what I needed to do.

 I lied to him that I was the one that he met on the stream that day and he believed me because no one could differentiate us.

 Until this morning, she returned from her journey to spoil all the fun, my face twisted with hate and anger as I stared into her eyes.

 "What's happening here?" Sharon inquired.

"I have found the one that I want to spend the rest of my life with." I returned.

"So you finally came for my sister? What do you call that?" She inquired with a frown hanging on her face.

 The tone of her voice showed that she was heartbroken and she was trying to hide it. I had known her for a very long time. "So she likes him so why is she playing hard?" I thought in my head. "But anyways, that was going to be in my favor." I thought again.

But just then, I began to perceive a sweet scent of cologne mixed with ginger, so sweet that I could not help but to sniff.

My legs were shivering, and my lips were shaking with excitement. But I didn't know what was making me so happy and also making my legs Shiver hard.

Then, I heard the word that made me Shiver with even more excitement. "Mate! Mate!" My wolf screamed at me. I could feel the mate bond now, so strong that I wanted to be one with him forever.

 I stared at him and I noticed that he was also sniffing, he had noticed the mate's scent too. And then, I noticed something that broke my heart into shreds, he wasn't staring at me, he was staring at Sharon.

 I could feel hot tears forming in the corner of my eyes. But then, I pushed them back quickly with a frown hanging on my face and I shot a stare at him. 

 "I am not going to let anyone take away what is rightfully mine from me." I thought quickly in my head. "But what do I do now?" I thought again, really confused. He was about to say something from his mouth.

I remembered the prophecy of the diviner. He was our only mate and I had waited for him for a long time and Time was no longer on my side I thought he came for Sharon in the first place, and I wasn't going to allow her to have him

"Mate!" I shot at him quickly pulling him away from Sharon towards me as he shot a surprised look at me and his once angry expression disappeared under a surprised look.

"What is happening here?" He inquired quickly

I could feel my heart beating hard against my chest as though it was going to burst through and cold Shivers ran down my spine.

"Can't you see it? Can't you feel it? You are my mate and we are meant to be?" I said quickly to him.

"Mate!" His wolf screamed out from the inside and I noticed that he was even more confused. But I was going to make sure that he was mine, even if I had to tear down the heavens, I was going to do it.

 "But Sharon is also my mate!" He returned with a confused look on his face.

"What should I do now?" I thought in my head confused.

"But you are already my mate and we are already mates first, right? I think the Moon Goddess made a terrible mistake mating us with the same Werewolf right? Two sisters can not have two Mates. It's an abomination never heard of in the history of all Werewolves packs and we should not bring the curse of the moon Goddess." I explained quickly under one breath.

 But nobody was saying anything. Neither Sharon nor Alpha Royce and I were beginning to hate the suspense.

"I just pray that he accepts me." I prayed in my heart.

 "Are think that you are right Shannon and there is nothing different about you guys. You are the same so it would be right to pick the one that came first, it could only be the decision of the moon Goddess." He noted with a long sigh.

 At his words, my heart almost lifted out from my chest in joy and a dark smile hovered on my lips. "Finally I had gotten him and there was absolutely nothing anyone could do about it now." I thought in my head as the smile on my face broadened.

 "But..." He said again and my heart almost ceased to beat. "What about Sharon?" He said again with a confused look on his face.

"Sharon? She is my sister and I have known her for quite a while now, I don't think that she would mind." I returned quickly.

 But I knew for sure that she minds. It was written all over her face. "I also want my mate?" She returned coldly and my heart sank.

 I shot a deadly glare at her and I could feel my anger rising so bad that I had to clutch my hands and clip my lips to the roof of my mouth to control my rising anger.

 She looked at me and I growled at her and she knew what I was saying. I was going to make her life miserable for her if she didn't allow me to have him.

 She was shivering hard and I could hear her beating against her chest from the point where I stood.

 I watched her facial expressions slowly and I waited to see what she was going to say. I rolled my eyes at her, threatening her with my eyes.

"You want?" Alpha Royce tried to say but she did not allow him to spit out a single word from his mouth.

"But don't worry. What she said is right. We can't have the same mate so you could just have her." She replied and I could see tears forming at the corner of her eyes but she was able to push them back.

 I had finally gotten what I wanted and she lost once again. She could no longer stand us and she turned to leave.

"I will have to take my leave now." She announced and walked away from us.

Alpha Royce stared right into my eyes and I stared back at him. "Mate!" He returned with so much passion in his eyes.

"Mate!" I returned slowly.

But then a deadly thought ran through my head making me shiver hard with fear. "What if he decides to return to Sharon." I thought in my head and I could feel my heart beating hard against my chest as though it was going to burst through.

 "How do I avoid that now? I can't afford to lose him after all I did to get him." I thought in my head. "I had to persuade him to get married to me as soon as possible." I thought with a smile hanging on my face

"Alpha Royce, we have to inform my parents that we are meeting now so that they will give us their blessings," I muttered to him, staring right into my eyes.

 But he shot a confused look at me. "Why are you so in a hurry?" He inquired with a surprised look on her face.
