40 - The Window

~Livia’s Point of View~

I was sitting in my old hangout, with Tyson … my mate. I felt like I was dreaming. How could he have known? I used to sit in this cafe for hours upon hours. I had so few friends in school … wait a minute.

“Did you … did you talk to my old roommate? Is that how you knew,” I ask, eyeing him.

“I don’t reveal my secrets, but … Marcia says hi,” he says, grinning.

My eyes grow wide and I smack his arm. Boy, he really did his homework, and this was only breakfast. It's honestly so thoughtful, it takes all my efforts not to get teary. But I push it back and focus.

“Ohh my god they still make these danishes just like I remember, ohh,” I moan, licking my fingers.

The coffee tastes exactly the same too, and without realizing it, I was swaying in my seat.

“Did you want to dance,” Tyson laughs, eyeing me curiously.

I giggle.

“No! I’m a horrible dancer. But come on, if you have food this good, it just moves you, you can’t help it,” I say, continuing my movement.
