26 - Secret's Out

~Quinn’s Point of View~

I spent the morning at the council’s headquarters, even though I’d said I was off limits for court, unfortunately there were some things that couldn’t wait. We’d had to call an emergency afternoon session of court once Godfrey woke, and I had to hurry it along so I could get back back for my announcement. Also, River had left me a note he needed to see me right away, but I would have to come to him at home.

“We’ll get River on this case right away,” Ash said, banging his gavel to end the court session.

“I’m afraid River is tied up this week, he’s handling something for me,” I say immediately.

“Using the Shadows as your own person errand boys like Godfrey,” Dina says, snickering.
