1 - Interrupted

~Meadow’s Point of View~

Christmas Eve on a private beach in Greece, sitting around a fire with some of my girlfriends … could life possibly get any better? We were staying here a couple of days, a lot of the Shadows were completely wasted and it was likely the parties would just continue. For once I wasn't stuck babysitting.

“I totally dreamed I was going to meet my mate on New Year’s Eve and with all the males around here, who knows, it might happen,” Alice said, her eyes sparkling in the light of the fire.

“I would die if I could take one of these Greek hotties home,” Brittani swooned.

I plopped down in the sand, putting my hands in front of the fire. It wasn’t too cold outside, but it wasn’t summer certainly. Wolves were naturally warm anyhow but the fire felt nice with the slight breeze.
