What I find surprises me most of all. A young she wolf, maybe eighteen, cowers in the corner. She appears innocent and frail, nothing like I would think these rogues that attacked would be.
“Where did you find her,” I ask a warrior.
“We followed the rogues back to their camp.”
Fear rolls off of her and I know something isn’t right.
“Tell me all that I want to know and no harm will come to you.”
