“Yeah,” Maisie lowered her head and replied, “I’m sorry. I didn’t know that you had a low fever.”

Nolan reached out and put his hand on the back of her cold hand. There was a smile tugging at the corner of his lips as he said, “I don’t want you to worry about me, so I didn’t tell you. I’m the one who should say sorry, Zee.”

After all, he was hiding a secret from her.

This is getting to be too much,not fun to read anymore. I know couples have ups and downs but this ridiculous. Nothing but blood and gore not my cup of tea. I won't read anything else by this author.... May delete the app.!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am not enjoying this - its a scary reality and not fun. I am frightened and despairing of the future of these 2. I am thinking about quitting this!

I can’t believe this! Where is the specialized doctor who who had turned up when Zee was bitten by the snake? I am sure Zee’s blood can save Nolan so why isn’t the doctor there?
